    Lockdown Brithday

I'm going out twice on my birthday in 3 weeks. It is right in the middle of two 12 hour night shifts.

    Seriously struggling today

Reading this thread has put it into perspective for me. Have volunteered to do extra shifts at work until those not able to work can come back. Looks like I could average about 72 hours a week until it is over. But at least I won't be stuck inside. I live by myself in England so the main reason...

    Coronavirus

Been handed a letter at work. Explains how I am a key worker. Been told to keep it in my car as a few of us have been pulled commuting for work. Shows the police are doing as instructed. And on another note the wife informed me that lockdown has been extended for another 15 days in France...

It is good that they are planning for what could at least happen. But would expect it to happen in and around London.

My thoughts are with Italy. The amount of new cases continuing is frightening. Makes you wonder how bad it really is here.

Today showed me reality has hit home. Had to go into town. Not been in for days. But it was business as usual then. A very long queue for NatWest and queues for the other banks. Everyone remaining more distant than 2 metres. But the standout was those sitting there needing your money. We...

Depends who you work for. Our workplace has been deep cleaned and continues to be cleaned constantly. Hand gel stations all over the place. Hand gel as you come into the gate. Get to the first part of the building and barriers take you through sinks that have been fitted to wash your hands...

Not exactly true though. Should we have left everyone without income and locked down before financial measures were put in place? What did happen was millions of people ignoring all advice.

Know the feeling. Your kids are your life. Miss mine but they miss me more. And will be months before they see me again. Don't worry it will soon be time to see them again. And hopefully as schools are off you will be allowed extra time to make up for it.

Repatriation of citizens changes with situations and countries. I could get to France as I could prove I live there. But I would be fooked if I tried to get back to England although I also live here. Had a hard enough time getting back to England last time and that was before any borders were...

Yes it did. But the crash when Labour were in charge had a big say in it. Labour took over at a best time for generations.

The first term was going to be successful for whoever got in. Labour had the chance of changing things for the good. But they ended up changing our long term futures for the worse. Not true Labour? Why did the Tories love him so much? Owen Jones: It's time to demolish the myth about Tony Blair

Victim? Here we go again. Make a reason to bring the word Brexit in. Then blame it on me not being able to comprehend. Diatribes against New Labour? Fuck me. Tell me what is false on what I have said. The truth hurts those who defend Labour whatever. And you are definitely one of those.
