We’ve sent home over 100 kids today that are showing symptoms but still came to school. 30% of our staff are self-isolating.
From tomorrow Y8,9 & 10 have been told to stay at home until at least 1st April.... we’ll be fully shut by end of week IMO.
I live a fair distance away (in Higham Ferrers near Rushden) but if any of you guys have relatives that need support in that part of the world I am more than happy to help. As a teacher I am probably going to have some time on my hands after this week.
Didn’t we used to be a world leader in innovation? Sounds pretty innovative to me.
If not that approach... I think the approach of Italy and France to suspend all utility bills and mortgages is a good alternative.
