What was the WASPS crowd today

I doubt it, a few may believe, rightly or wrongly, that they are doing it for the greater good. The majority have simply stopped going, they would be back at the first sniff of a big game regardless of SISU.

What was the WASPS crowd today

Well that's why I put '?' because I wasn't sure if when you said Cov fans you meant us football fans, you see how that can be misconstrued, thanks for clarifying.

Ok fair enough only have your word, no idea why they would lie and say the trust own it on there official site then unless they sold it to him within the last year (can't find anything which says such) Anyway the post I copied would have been from several years ago when Wycombe owned Adams Park...

He said half season tickets, as in this article from yesterday i.e not next season. http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/half-season-tickets-coventry-city-mk-dons-league-one-2273472.aspx

Source? This suggests otherwise http://www.wycombewanderers.co.uk/news/article/trust-statement-ownership-1358468.aspx The freehold of Adams Park and all of the memorabilia would remain under the ownership of the Trust The Trust board believes the offer to be beneficial in securing the...

I'm guessing this will mostly be for football related matters so can you ask. Can you ask about our scouting/recruitment policy, specifically interested in who identifies the players.

A manager that has a proven record with limited resources

There was also a rumour he refused to sign a foreign player the board were trying to get because he hadn't seen him play and that caused friction with the owners.

A manager that has a proven record with limited resources

There was speculation last week they were talking to other managers behind his back so I guess they just wanted to end the rumours rather than let them rumble on.

What was the WASPS crowd today

Are you saying he didn't give a shit about us being at Sixfields? If so based on what? Or are you just looking for a reaction as usual?

A manager that has a proven record with limited resources

And I'm always wary of managers who come in and have an instant impact anywhere, not to say he isn't good enough but how much of what he's achieved is down to Uwe Rosler laying the foundation over the previous 2/3 seasons?

A manager that has a proven record with limited resources

Brentford splashed a lot of cash to get out of L1 but he has done an excellent job this season. He's still relatively inexperienced so could be feasible.

    pressley gone missing

Smart move to take him out of the firing line I think, fans are sick of his interviews at the moment and anything he says will be jumped on.
  15. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Pressley's signings

Lots of clubs now openly operate a policy where the manager doesn't get a say, or very little input in who is signed. If we were doing that, I don't see why the club would be so secretive over it if it was the case.

That is how to look after fans

You say that Adams Park is a nice little stadium and that once it was large enough for the then population. May I remind you that Adams Park is still the perfect size for Wycombe Wanderers. This seasons average attendances have been around 4000. Since Adams Park was opened (only 20 years...

That is how to look after fans

Hopefully Wasps have learned lessons from there time at Adams Park, the moment they started trying to walk all over the football club was when they lost the support of the local community and the animosity started. If Wasps try and do the same to the us they may lose the support of Coventry...

That is how to look after fans

No it doesn't say that, just my conclusions from just reading the article, Wasps clearly weren't happy being only tenants at Adams Park and tried to gain more power and a bigger influence over Wycombe as they didn't like it the other way round. The point about WW subsidising Wasps is made after...
