You obviously have not watched much of him this last 2 months then …. He’s not been our best or most important player for weeks and weeks.

I don’t think he’s not trying, others might disagree. My point is that his form and contribution are poor.

Neither are in good form. Neither creating anything. We are shipping goals and being over run in midfield. the real issue isnt Palmer or COH it’s why either of them ? Why not Torp,Eccles, and Sheaf and make our midfield more competitive than it currently is ….

We do need more experience but Fadz wasn’t the answer and we needed to move on given our change in formation .

He’s not playing him because 1) is form is poor 2) his attitude is poor 3) he’s not here next season. Seems a pretty rational decision to me …. The issue for us is that both are 10’s are out of form when it comes to end product right now.

I’ve seen him play 5 or 6 times. Always on the left. Never switched flanks or played 10 in those matches. That might if course simply be Fergusons preferred use of him.

If we are to play with 2 wide men then you need at least 4 in your squad, possibly 5. You need to be able to cope with injuries, suspension, poor form, and fatigue. We currently have 2, with EMC that makes 3. I’d like one more proven and one young punt.

I suspect COH likes to be the star man, the centre of attention etc … he’s probably found being on the bench a blow to his ego. If this is the case he should choose his next club with great care.

It takes time to get that bond, particularly with the influx of international players we have had. I’m sure it will come.

Whether COH feels he’s being unfairly treated by Robins or not the truth is when he replaces Palmer he doesn’t grab the game and make it impossible to drop him. He comes on, does some neat safe 5 yard passes, scampers about abit but doesn’t really impact the game.

They look knackered physically and mentally. That said I’d sooner the club had organised some downtime together as a team than let them drift off for 3 days doing their own thing.
