Clingan & Cranie Offered £8k A Week Deals

Hmm, is it by any chance a bloody big mansion in Portugal? Does mustard turn orange if you leave it in the sun? Just joshin ya ;)

Clingan & Cranie Offered £8k A Week Deals

Which is exactly why Ken did it. Underhand tactics again.

Clingan & Cranie Offered £8k A Week Deals

EXACTLY. What Ken has done is virtually guarantee they will not sign. It's a "take it or leave itr" offer, intended to publicly shame them and excuse their sale at Xmas. It is every bit as disgustingly Machiavellian as the way they leaked the Hoffman investors identity to the media. They really...

    CCFC Statement - Hmmmm, really?

Exactly, Singers-football is a game you lose money from usually, not make it, and you don't ever make it the way SISU are trying to. It's a money pit, not an investment. No wonder they can't attract new "investment" the way they run their business! They're trying to sell the L1/L2 dream, every...

    CCFC Statement - Hmmmm, really?

It's not though, is it? Because the vast majority of money owed (they say owed, for all the other clubs it's lost) is to SISU themselves. So we won't, nay can't, go into administration. The whole way it's been structured to make the owners bullet-proof means that we are denied the one normal...

    CCFC Statement - Hmmmm, really?

OK but why are we the only club in our division doing it such an extreme? Because we are the only club with owners who have no emotional attachment to the club?

    Portsmouth Match

Typical of a side with F.A. confidence-everyone wanting someone else to take responsibility. Although Wood has a record for that sort of behaviour (Notts F goal last season where he let the injured player dribble/limp to the byline..)

    Currently bottom of the league!

We might be able to keep this thread going until the end of the season!

Who was to blame? Murphy and A.N. Other?

So the "Bell out to Christmas" rumour can also be put to bed. Well unless he gets injured again, which he probably will! Odd that Deegan rumour, considering he isn't even on the bench. He hasn't thrown another strop and stormed off, has he? :o

    Portsmouth Match

Ouch. Really impressed with Hussey last few games, he'll be a big miss. The break might do Cyrus good, though. So much for the Cameron to Northampton story, then-sorry Aidy, we need him!

Thorn will be sacked today surely?

He probably would with our squad, though!

    Portsmouth Match

3 o'clock..so who is actually playing, then? Did Deegan break down in the warm-up perhaps?

    Andy Turner...what does he know????

Spot on. I like the "losses are really losses, not loans" point; pretty much what I was saying in the thread about the club statement. I'm glad somebody else can see it from this perspective.

Delieuded Talks up his credentials as a Professional Football Managar on ccfc.co.uk

If the title of this thread was "Ken talks up his Football Manager skills on CCFC.co.uk", it would actually be slightly less embarrassing.

    Portsmouth Match

Anyone heard any team news? I'm at work until 4 so no CWR for me  Wait a minute...actually, I'll probably have a better time at work than listening to Clive and Geoff's depressing analysis :p I'd still like to know the team, though.

Time To Turn The Heat On John Clarke

His only agenda is lining his own pockets. I wouldn't turn the heat up too much though, pigs tend to cook when you do that.

Thorn will be sacked today surely?

Fergie didn't just have an incredible crop of kids, he also had the core remaining experienced players with glittering CV's, a huge team of coaches and other specilized backroom staff, and one of the best 2 transfer budgets in the country. Any comparison between us and them really doesn't wash.
