    Season over?

Who says we aren't? But you have to build from where you are and what you are. The mantra of we will finish in top six has a short shelf life unless you are in a sniff of the top six. Fans seem to be confusing an intention with a promise. Let's face it practically every team in the...

    Season over?

No great expectations, but I haven't written the season off. It will be interesting to see how the new regime beds in and hopefully kicks us on. "Season over," seems to apply to a lot of one dimensional glory hunters. Who have no real appreciation of football and the monumental tasks involve...

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 29th Dec

Millwall was always going to be a tough game. They were set up so well, it was an intriguing game and I really enjoyed it. Rudoni twisted a chance out of nothing and was so unlucky not to score off bar and post, but that is football. Sheaf showed today he might be a very good DM but he is no...

As long as Lamps sees it now I'm not too bothered.

It's still all guestimates though; unless of course leaks are always correct and journalists always print the facts right?

    Robins to Stoke ?

Yes I am sure the Stoke owners pitch is, "Come and work for us Mark, it will be like coming home because we are oddball owners." Mark, "Yes I am at my best with oddball." 😂

People are reading 2m rejected, 3m rejected etc as up front fees when they could of course be total fees after add-ons and the potential final figure. Nobody really knows except the clubs involved. It sounds like those figures were leaked by Barnsley, who had a vested interest in showing...

    Expected Goals Against

There has been a lot of mistakes we have got away with to be fair. It's just that most the ones we get away with are soon forgotten. The main reason we have conceded so many goals is the build up of too many mistakes. Even against poor teams it hasn't been a suprise when they have scored...

    Jake Bidwell

Well if he has no resale value we may as well keep him and I would argue with our current squad he is very much an asset and more likely to secure points than blindly persevering with DaSilva, hoping he improves when he has shown no signs of doing so in one and a half seasons. If his contract...

    Robins to Stoke ?

Robins said pretty soon after departing Coventry that he wanted to get back into football quickly. Personally if I were him I would take WBA rather than Stoke out of the two. Stoke has been a basket case for years, big spends with no end product and never really giving managers time.

    Jake Bidwell

It's never been an issue with me, Bidwell all day long. Many fans just followed the spoutings of internet want to be's rather than using their own eyes. Yes we need to sign someone to compete and eventually replace him, but that isn't DaSilva, who offers nothing in any area of the pitch and...

Why so many empty seats ?

Who says they don't know? Everyone enters via a turnstile with ticket or season ticket. So they will know. But the published attendance figure has to include all tickets sold and not who turned up

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 29th Dec

I don't disagree based on his current form, but like I said he looked a lot better when he was at WBA (and I know there fans felt he should be getting more goals). I think he needs a run of games rather than cameos, it's almost like he is trying too hard rather than playing his natural game...

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 29th Dec

Ok he hasn't found his form yet and has been a disappointment so far. But I still think he can be decent long term. One goal every four games at WBA suggests a decent player is there and Robins was good at developing strikers. When ever I saw BTA play for WBA he caught the eye

It was good to see Kitching getting a runout but I wouldn't start him based on that cameo. The starting defenders got us a clean sheet, Kitching had nothing to do.

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 29th Dec

He is a player out of form who has had limited game time to find it. He averaged one in four for WBA, so I would not right him off as a dud yet. Mason Clarke, Wright, Simms all took a while to get going, as did Gyokeres
