Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Imagine if it did kick off.... Starmer would probably do a WWE style heel turn midway through... EDIT: Like this one too.

When you look at it, this feels like this has been years in the making. Going back to as far as 2010 - when the Lib Dems could have formed a coalition with Labour and even SNP but chose the Tories. It gave them 5 years to do what they liked, giving meaningless concessions now and then (like 5p...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Reminds of the time Dennis Skinner was pulled up for calling half the Tories corrupt. To which he replied ‘half the Tories aren’t corrupt’

That’s the thing - in their mind they do have it right, it’s exactly the right priority for them. And 40% of the population lap it up.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I think they must work on a policy of being that despicable as a party that they just grind you down to pieces so that you don’t even have the energy to push back. No matter how awful you think they are one week - they trump it the next. Imagine voting down measures to feed free school meal...

The people getting triggered about Burnham wanting an extra 10/20m are the same people that have essentially glossed over giving 12b to Serco for nothing. No credibility whatsoever.

How often does this point get ignored/played down/hidden. There doesn’t have to be a massive debt for future generations to pay off.

To be honest in years gone by I would try and phone up or text in - once I managed to get on to listen from outside the county and the phone never got picked up. I don’t know if that is the same now.

They should be angry with the Tories for the way they’ve abandoned them. They should be angry with Labour for abandoning the mandate of democracy last year, and they should be a little angry with themselves for trusting Tories in the first fucking place. The ideology of Brexit laid the way for...
