£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

How is it possible to pay 1.40 for every pound in? We would have been in embargo due to FFP

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

Btw how we were spending £1.40 for every £1.00 in as has been claimed? Only allowed to spend 60% right?

Even more so than usual though.

Exceptional circumstances though for the years accounts, it isn't typical of a regular year.

    Port Vale

tbf I'd call every team in this league outside of the top 5 poor, it will be the least shit team this year that scrapes into the play offs in 6th place.

I guess the positive is when you don't have a clue, if Wasps lost you probably wouldn't have even known it.

    Papering the crowd?

With the amount of free tickets and those who are paying only £15-20 its not unreasonable to believe that Wasps are actually taking in less money in ticket revenue than Adams Park. As long as the attendance is higher though they will continue to tell us it has been a great success.

    Papering the crowd?

It's obvious the actual paying crowd is a lot less than what is being announced, how many more is just guesswork. If they can keep saying we got X time the crowd would have been at Adams Park or we got X number of fans more than CCFC they can keep telling us it is a success and hope that...

    The Accounts

Hope you're right but the same is said almost every year.

Does anyone know how much the club paid to Northampton to get out of Sixfields?

    TM, SISU & next season

Dunno, this is what I meant in the other thread before. Everyone draws there own conclusions despite not fully understanding and picks out the parts they want to see. Truth is unless you are an accountant you should probably keep your opinions on the accounts to yourself as no disrespect it...

    TM, SISU & next season

Or maybe that means from the 5.6 million, 4.6 million is staff costs?

Probably, also announced that Cardiff are 170 million in debt to Tan the other day. All for chasing one year in the premier league.

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

Told ya, pointless looking at the accounts for simpletons like me. They try and tell us they've written off 60 million and the OSB and Godiva come an tell us they haven't and we are still 40 million in debt to SISU. Still confused.

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

Point taken, its just the same thing happens every year. A massive deal is made of them every year, one side try to dress it up one way and the other side the other. Then OSB comes in and speaks in riddles which I don't understand and then we do it all again in 12 months.

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

Without the proper accounting knowledge or expertise, any conclusions drawn from this will likely be ill-informed and wrong anyway. People will see what they want to see.

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

Don't really understand accounting but sounds good that they have written off the majority of their debt? With Wilson money and back at the Ricoh this years accounts could be break even.

Sisu doing everything on the cheap!

Mowbray doesn't trust the owners and doesn't want to be stuck in a long contract where the owners are screwing him and the club? Mowbray doesn't want to manage in L2 if we go down?
