    Port Vale

You're still a poor side, although as I've said before I think the whole league are poor outside the top 5 (even then I don't really rate Sheffield Utd) the only bit he was wrong on was saying we should be beating you with ease, as we are awful at the moment.

Reda Johnson Potentially out for a further month

JOB has 5 I think, I don't think he was ever officially credited with the goal in the 1-0 win at Sixfields vs Sheffiled Utd.

    Lack of experience

Mowbray said after the match, he'd like a calm voice and experienced head at the back. He said his concern with Webster would be that the defensive line would have to drop deeper to cover Websters lack of pace and then if you drop deep the opposition will just pump long balls into the box...

    Conor Thomas

I think he's just coming back from an injury As far as injuries go, Reda Johnson, Jordan Willis and James Maddison remain out while midfielder Conor Thomas made a return to training yesterday but won’t be pushed for the weekend...

Agreed I'm still concerned we can't seem to play for more than 30 minutes without looking fatigued though.

    Port Vale

He's a Port Vale fan so I guess he has watched the players you mentioned.

    Chris Stokes

Stokes was rubbish today as well. He had a 5 yard head start on a Port Vale player and was beaten to the ball on the touchline as he simply gave up.

    5 things from today's game

Marshalls career was in the toilet when we signed him, he would have been on a lower wage than most if not all of O'Brien, Swanson, Tudgay, Jackson, Miller

Barton IS the protection in this team...scary thought

    5 things from today's game

Stokes isn't up to this level and we need a proper defensive midfielder are the two main things that I took from the game.

    Port Vale match thread

I said it after last week and I'll reiterate it again, this team doesn't look fit. They are completely gone after 30 minutes It's not a coincidence that under Robins we could score late goals an come strong at the end and now we barely get a kick after the first 30 minutes of a match

    Bournemouth

If they make it then congratulations to them. Remember only 3 teams can get promoted, how many teams haven't been successful like Bournemouth could be and have ran themselves into trouble in the process of chasing the dream.

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

Ah yea got my years confused there as we were talking sixfields for a moment :/

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

How many had ticket at Sixfields, a few 100 at most? I'd also imagine merchandise revenue would be up on the Sixfields era even in depsite the lack of stock. Not arguing with you on the cups, was just pointing out the Birmingham fixture was hardly significant. Taking the Wilson sale into...

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

Ticket price is pretty much the same, no match day increase is the only difference. Prize money is minimal at 3rd/4th round and Birmingham attendance was about 10k so not major, and without being privy to the deals you can't really say what difference there would be sponsorship. As you rightly...

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

I think our revenue at the Ricoh in 12/13 was something like 6.5 million compared to 3 million at Sixfields last season, if we can get to something close to that this year than add the Wilson transfer fee we could be close to breaking even for the season.
