    RATINGS FOLKS v Southampton

Yes, and I also thought stepping forward into the hole role would suit him better, and it did. That's his position, as is up front for Sheff (cracking finish, btw!) I won't give ratings as missed 20 mins, but I will say we should just not pick Deegan against Southampton ever again(not that...

    Dunn

Quirke is such a great 'keeper that he is now playing for...nobody. I think that says it all. And I'm still amazed that Dunn is getting quite so much stick, but golden boy Keogh gets none. And Dimi was terrible.

    If SISU stick around

But why would they put us into administration when the majority of our "debt" is owed to....SISU! If they want to guarantee not getting any money, that's the way to do it.

Time to confront Hoffman and Elliott

Some say that Hoffman is telling Keys what to do? People who believe that really need to understand that Keys has a lot of air time to fill. From what Eakin said, sounds like Keys had no such permission to go blabbering. So therefore, why has Hoffman got a case to answer? For what..not reigning...

Wahey, just made my 500 :) Maybe I should do what a cricketer would and declare, retiring henceforth from Sky Blues Talk? It feels a bit like one of those 80's computer games where you get to the end, but then it just goes back to the start...

Time to confront Hoffman and Elliott

Things as complicated as this are rarely so black and white.

Time to confront Hoffman and Elliott

Yes, confront them, why not bring weapons? I'm sure they have no idea what they are doing and making them "fess up" any plans in public won't be in the slight bit counter-productive, oh no.

I think it's time Hoff put his cards on the table

I'm pretty sure the nature of these things require confidentiality. And any way, he'd have just as many fans moaning if he was all over the press proclaiming it! People need to just accept that if anything is happening, it's not in public, and could take some time. Which is how it should be, not...

    Dunn

Oh I agree wholeheartedly that Murphy has proven himself in the past 4 games. Just think Dunn is decent backup and a good prospect. If Thorn had been able to go on to strengthen the rest of the squad in such style this summer, as I have no doubt he had planned to..well, we wouldn't be in this mess.

    Dunn

I maybe thought that, but it was the kind of ball Murph rarely comes for either

Eakin's question summed up the entire situation...

That may be the closest ROD has got to praise outside of my posts!

    Dunn

He wasn't terrible, either. What he does have is the raw ingredients and the potential to become a good 'keeper. So pretty much what I thought anyway.

A great indication of our paucity of resources. I assume that the Freddy/Sammy medicals were a last minute look to see if they were fit enough to be emergency bench options.

Just spin, Lord, that's the only reason. Some call it "lies", just little white one's :) Hey, is the phrase "white lie" politically incorrect? Is that why they started calling it spin?

    The Thorn out people

A weak bench is under stating it. Ruffles and Jeffers were fresh legs, but they were outclassed and made zero impact.

    Thorn on the radio...

At least our back-to-earth reality shock was in the Cup, and there was enough good stuff first half to take some positives from it into the league campaign-and honestly, we all know that's our priority, with our squad the cup is just a distraction and strain on fitness. I just take it as a good...

Needed to take those chances when we were on top. Deegan, Sheff and ROD all had great opportunities to seal it. Whatever you think of ROD, he is clearly our quickest forward, and we look more dangerous on the break with him in the side. He could have had a hatrick today, but at least he worked...
