    Coventry university nopm.

The club doesn't need to own the stadium, it just needs to own the income streams. Other than that ownership of the ground would be of no use to ccfc, only sisu.

Now they want Clarke as well!

But Fisher said sisu would fund the losses. Your not suggesting he lied are you?

    Small or Large

A club that spent 34 years in the top flight, and had a significant impact on the game, one of only 4 clubs outside the PL to have an attendance in excess of 30k, a City ranked as Britain's 12th biggest and in the top 100 of Europe's biggest cities.

    pizza war in coventry

I seen one of them sat on the corner of Radford Common by the traffic lights necking back a can of lager yesterday. Must have been his lunchbreak!

    Coventry Pub Reviews

There was a smaller lake at pool meadow, roughly where the whittle arches are now. They drained it about 200 years ago. Its where Radford Brook and the Sherborne meet, which is still visible on Palmer Lane behind the Burges.

    Coventry Pub Reviews

Whilst not Coventry, I went in The Cricketers today in Leamington. Always go past it and never been in before. Seemed a cracking pub with a slightly eccentric city fan as the bar manager!

That's a good point. It has only been a good start to the season when you consider the off field shenanigans. Don't get me wrong, I think the team have done very well all things considered. However had it been settled off the pitch I would say the season start has been acceptable at best.

    Just a theory...

You wouldn't pay £6k for a clapped out lada, you still wouldn't even if you got together with your mate. Hoffman and Byng aren't the money men, its their backers who have no affinity to Coventry, therefore wont pay over the odds for a worthless business.

Ann Lucas requests meeting with Joy again

The club is a tenant in Northampton now though. Just with much lower revenue than if they stayed at the Ricoh.

    Ann Lucas and Joy Sepalla

    Has this just been announced?

    1-0 Sisu

Im confused by the title. It suggests sisu have gained or won something. The only winners in this whole saga are Paul Appleton and the Northampton Town chairman. Everyone else loses.

Some NTFC fans at the Cov game

Yep, everything is crystal clear now and we are all aware of the facts.

    Biggest threat to SISU

I wouldn't be in favour of Nuneaton playing at the Ricoh for the same reasons City shouldn't play in Northampton. Clubs belong in their own town. However, if they did, how would it be any different to the sky blues playing outside the city 'in the Coventry area'? Nuneaton and Coventry can...

    Telegraph article

Did people think the club was really going to come back after two games? Sisu are stubborn, to the point of fiscal madness, but that doesn't mean nopm wont work, it just needs time. As I've asked before many times, if the club get decent crowds over there, what is the incentive for sisu to...

    nopm mob

How can a group of fans be fickle and stubborn at the same time? The only fickle fans are ones such as yourself who supported nopm and gave up after we beat the mighty Carlisle.

    New ground update?

How is awarding a catering contract to compass illegal? Compass also offer their services at the liberty stadium and Upton park, so can we expect to see action taken against those stadiums now?

    New ground update?

Surely the season tickets are cheaper because sixfields is an inferior stadium?

    Coventry United FC heads home

Good luck lads. Nice to hear of a decent start to the season.
