You get deals done as soon as you possibly can. Planning delays adds risk that something happens to prevent the transfer, a rival bid, injury at training,change of heart by the selling club, etc etc …..

IF it’s true that Frank met him in London then his agent and the player must have indicated to Austin that a deal within our financial parameters could be possible.
Without that Frank would not be meeting anyone.
