We can’t just collect players we have to sell some too. It makes sense to sell your 5/6th choice midfielder ahead of other positions with less cover.

We play 2 holding midfielders … ahead of Eccles are Sheaf, Grimes, Allen, and Torp. He therefore needs all 3 of those to lose form, get injured, suspended for him to start. I think Frank prefers Lati as cover at Right back.

Selling a player who can’t get into the team already despite Sheaf and a grimes not being available can’t be described as a disaster. To be fair to Eccles he may want a move himself to play games, he’s currently 6 choice for a midfield of 3. I like him but we do have to sell some players to...

I think Frank rates him and i like the fact he is a totally different type of wide player to anything else we have.

Brendan Rodger’s described iheanacho as “uncoachable” , natural finisher but not much more.

They haven’t been able to get insides far inferior to ours. That assessment won’t take long.

Feels like our midfield 3 is Rudi and Grimes with Sheaf when fit but if not then Allen, Torp and Eccles all fighting for it. Rudi is now a clear first choice starter.
