Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

That isn’t out the football pyramid works …: I doubt AfC Wimbledon fans or Huddersfield fans wanted to see him leave but he did ….. Only 2 things matter now in football transfers … money and player power.

    Rob gurney

Gurney is lucky that King didn’t ban him from the building following his less than impartial performance at the forum. I don’t mind Rob but he needs to move on from them fan boy with a mic or I’d prefer someone with more insight.

Our defending cost us our place …… Wright could have compensated for those inadequacies but all 3 goals were from poor defending.

Frank has won a tonne of things as a players always with a mix of young and proven players. I doubt he will move far from that model as a manager.

There is a place for proven quality with the right leadership skills coming towards the end of their careers …. Brighton have constantly done this … Milner, Wellbeck; lallana etc ….

    Leicester At It Yet Again!

In the 23/24 season Leicester were 27 points clear of 7th and 7 points clear of third. A 6 point penalty or similar means no real impact In all probability. That season their average wage bill was 5 x greater than the rest of the championship. They made no attempt to comply with the rules and...

    Leicester At It Yet Again!

It needs to be circa 20 points deduction for it to really have any meaning. It won’t be but it needs to be. … If you look at the gap between the top 2 or 3 in the championship ( normally the recently relegated clubs ) and the rest of the league it’s circa 20 points plus, this season it was...

You need a mix in any team. Doucare is out of our league but Frank signed Thiago Silva when was over 35 so he clearly values experience as well as youth.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

This is a good question but it needs to be worked on. The days of wide players swapping randomly during matches are largely gone, not least because of their defensive responsibilities which are now seen as integral to the role but previously were seen as a bonus if the winger tracked back.

Or more likely the POD berating our strikers whilst letting off Thomas and Kitchen because they occasionally pop into their corporate box.

Good. I’d sooner have Grimes anyway.

    Viveash side of the story

This is very self serving from the That Cov Pod. I don‘t blame them as content providers but its unlikely to help City if it simply stirs up more emotion and speculation and brings back divisions that had healed. There is a time and place for this stuff but i don’t think it’s now.

Kaine Kesler-Hayden picked up three trophies in Preston North End’s 2025 Player Awards. The young wing-back is the latest recipient of the Sir Tom Finney Player of the Year award, as voted for by the PNE fans, and his teammates have also selected him as the Players’ Player of the Year. Kaine...
