I waffled about this last week. I think a big chunk of the “60/70m” debt was the conditional amount we’d have to pay GR on Premiership return meaning the “SISU” amount was about half. I think the GR amount has expired / got written off in the admin. I might be wrong.

Depends on how you calculate the debt, in any case it might be irrelevant - watching back on Sky did anyone see Joy’s beaming face in the crowd next to Tim? The Prem jackpot isn’t a huge pipe dream - squeeze the playoffs and a couple of great / lucky performances…..(I’m not being negative, just...

Really pleased that Viktor has got the call up he deserves. The only downside I guess is that it’ll disrupt planning for how we set up to play against Blackburn. Not having him for set piece practice for example is a problem (not sure who his stunt man is in the squad?, it’s what I’ve been...

    Fadz own goal

Maybe the Ref looked at the replay (or his lino’s have chatted to him after looking at the big screen - I know they shouldn’t but they’re only human) for the own goal, at half time and knew he’d made a mistake. The pen decision might have been a 50/50 in his mind but decided to give benefit of...

    Fadz own goal

I might be talking rubbish but I’m sure Fadz was standing “wrong side” for a reason. That “corridor of uncertainty” just in front of the keeper - where the keeper should come and catch and not be hindered by his own defence? Possibly the tactic is to stand “wrong side” and let the keep catch...

    Fadz own goal

BBC Sport review: …”Mark Robins' rampant Sky Blues went in at half-time 1-0 down after Kyle McFadzean's own goal was allowed to stand despite appearing to be fouled by Aleksandar Mitrovic.” I thought it was just a bit of Fadz doing a crazy at first but watching back he does have a case. The...

    Never change a winning side

Godden is a wily old fox - he might not have the bustle of Waghorn but his pass for the first goal and conning of the Ref give him the edge for me.

It may be that we keep a winning team and Gus sits on the bench and learns that silly yellows for petulant behaviour has consequences. Still think he’s amazing though.

Kelly is a great skipper but some point out that his passing range isn’t so good. Fair enough, opinions are entitled. Hamer has sublime talent but has rushesof red mist. He’s young - he will develop. O’Hare is brilliant, chases and harries, runs at defences and wins free kicks aplenty. He’s...

And I’ll stand by it. I said that in pretty much the same sentence that he was saving Kelly to come in for Gus today - to which some guffawed. Context is key, but clown away if it makes you feel good about yourself. Enjoy. Sheaf is young and on a learning curve. Kelly not so much. The game...

Fair enough. TBH it didn’t seem that way watching the game but the end result worked; Kelly being there helps the younger players. Just my opinion.

The stat gimps on here suggested he shouldn’t play in this match. Brilliant in front of the back four enabling Sheaf to have the confidence to push up and play his passing game. We’ve a young team and having a grown up in the middle settles them and it showed.

Brilliant. Now Godden off (he’s done great for winning the pen) and get Allen on to pack midfield. Pace on break.

That wasn’t a penalty. About time we had a bit of luck.

I’d go for that. Overload the midfield and push Cal up.
