Think that's fair although he's 'only' 6'1 whereas Kelly is 6'2. Think Sheaf looks taller than he is because of his lean body. I think there's quite a bit he can improve on physically as well as cutting out the mistakes. As you rightly say though he's 22 years old, playing in a new team in a...

Sheaf on the left, Kelly on the right Comparison is more difficult as they've played a big difference in minutes whereas with Sheaf/Hamer they're almost identical. Kelly passes forward approx. 3 times more per match.

You said he "looks to" pass to the CBs as in that's his aim. It's simply not true. He passes backwards 18% of the time & forward 30% of the time. Hamer passes backwards only very marginally less.

Another myth. Total Passes: Sheaf 834 Hamer 819 Backwards Passes: Sheaf 152 (18% of total passes) Hamer 126 (15% of total passes) Passing Accuracy opp. Half: Sheaf 79% Hamer 63%

Intangibles like that can't be tracked by stats as you well know. Same as there isn't one that can track what effect needlessly getting banned for 4 games has on a team. In terms of direct causation of goals conceded Sheaf has tonight & if you're really harsh the Wycombe penalty? Hamer has at...

Correct. According to some the guy on the left isn't good enough to play for us whilst the one on the right is a £15m Premier League player.

No but that's how we play him. What other role could he play?

Fair point, forgot that 1. 1 in 94 games then. Of course his worldies count & so do cup goals. I'm not a Biamou hater at all but think the worldies & the fact he's a good guy with a good story buys him a lot of leeway. His general play is not up to scratch.

Truly baffling that a "Target Man" striker has never scored a headed goal. You can see why though, movement is non existent.

You're wrong. We overtake Birmingham. Same goal difference but we'll be ahead on GF

Agreed apart from on Hyam. He's had as many poor games as good ones this season yet to some he can do no wrong.

That's obviously the plan, gave up passing through them hence removing Sheaf from the pivot & putting the extra striker on. The problem with that is even when we chuck crosses in Biamou is never going to get on the end of them.

Quite. Expect 7's & 8's for him & Hyam in the Ratings thread whilst Sheaf will be lucky to get a 3.

Shipley always the wrong side of his man & zero pace to recover. Gives away fouls consistently.
