That's interesting. I suppose it would make sense that someone is trying to set up a phoenix club of some kind. It costs peanuts to set up a company of course, so this could be entirely speculative. Even if there is a phoenix Wasps, I don't see how they start in the Premier division though...

At best, Wasps will be in the Championship next season. Debt free perhaps, but now with zero arena income. Crowds of a couple of thousand at the very most. They won't need a 32,000 seat stadium, and they won't be able to afford a six figure rent of any kind, unless they want to end up in admin...

It's always been back to front that. The south stand should always have been for the home fans. Actually closer to the city centre to start off with. Plus, the sun has always shone in the same direction on Saturday afternoons, at least since I was young. 🙂 Poor planning!

I'm not sure how this would work. There's a strict order of creditors, and even HMRC sit behind the bondholders. There's no obvious way that I can see of CCC jumping to the front if they loan ACL funds now or when in admin. If any subsequent deal unspooled it'd be a risk to council funds, surely?
