    Observations and Questions

It's what pre-season is for, getting rid of the extra weight you put on as you aren't playing and training constantly. Players drift towards their natural body weight, much as they balloon after retirement-like Paul "Massive" Williams has!

    Keogh's leaving...

I think that's pretty much confirmation! Wood you sly dog..

    Coventry Academy

Has great balance, bit of pace and a trick, strong lad and not afraid of a tackle. Just love the way he pings those through balls, looks to have a lot of creativity. And that goal where he lobbed it in the far corner from miles out was lovely. Our academy roolz. That's why it pisses me off...

Leamington, mate-Torch lives in Warwick but works slumming it in Leam most of the time ;)

    Are SISU heading for forgiveness

How do you know that we wouldn't have already bounced back up by now, having been bought by someone rich, just like other sides that were in that position have since been?

What league are Hinckly in again?

Pretty much! Just answering the question and lending some perspective. It's not unusual for non-league sides to have less than 11 on their books at this stage of pre-season, though. Nuneaton will be a much tougher test, can't wait, going to that one :)

Edited to reflect what somebody in SISU has certainly said at some point recently ;) Can you tell me what the formation was? And who was skipper first half?

Wood would, wouldn't he? Why wouldn't Wood?

    Coventry Academy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4x2UU9j87lg&feature=youtu.be Not from today, from last season.

I think he'd bag double figures in a full L1 season. There's his record at Hartlepool...and he scored against Bury last season!

    Coventry Academy

Agree that they shouldn't have been used so young, but after today, it's not the best timing saying they aren't ready! Sure it's only Hinckley, but usually most Academy players don't even make it at BSN level. Ours taught a side from that level a footballing lesson today. Having just watched...

What league are Hinckly in again?

Blue Square North, only avoided relegation last season due to other teams getting points deductions or expelled, have a squad of 8, only 4 of which played today.

That was a point I often made when extolling the virtues of Cody last season: he is a 2 X infinity better impact-player than Eastwood ever was!

    Updates

It's a fair point, although one that was made by Eastwood supporters to a tiresome degree. Seeing as it's the last time I will say it: Eastwood never scored as a sub for City. I reckon ROD will manage that this season, and he loves the club to bits. Good luck to him, I think he'll be useful...

    Keogh's leaving...

Probably because he thought the guy was senile for thinking Martin Keown plays for us: avoid eye contact, move along quickly :D
