    Alex Nimely

That's Cody's job. We still need the Ndlovu/Williams type to go with him (ie Nimely), not to mention the Rosario-type with his back to goal: although I do believe Sumo's best spell was with Rosario in midfield.

    Refreshing

I'll never forgive the bastards for selling Gael so soon. Still, each to their own! I hope you enjoy our parasite capitalist scum owners :)

    An Evening With.....

Looks like the commentary work's dried up, then.

Thorn: Inevitable Keogh will leave, we want 2 strikers,Edjenguele still on cards

Well Cardiff seem to think that a Keogh/Turner partnership would work just fine, thanks. So, he would have been first choice instead of Cranie. Possibly moved Cranie or Keogh to RB whilst Clarke was injured. I'm pretty confident that keeping Turner would have made the difference last season...

Thorn: Inevitable Keogh will leave, we want 2 strikers,Edjenguele still on cards

Having Messi wouldn't guarantee promotion, but it would increase our chances by a significant %

So Thorn says he wants to bring in a couple of strikers

And with the way we had to wait for the Turner sale before we got Cody, there's a precedent here!

So Thorn says he wants to bring in a couple of strikers

Hope so mate. I think people forget that he was very young during his previous loan spells. I actually thought he looked quite tidy last pre-season, he had a good game Saturday from what I've been told, and even last game last season against Saints he wasn't that bad-he held it up and layed it...

So Thorn says he wants to bring in a couple of strikers

Because he wasn't fit. We still need more than just Cody: our backup is pretty weak and much as I wish Jeffers and Rod well, we need better than them for a promotion push. A striker of the quality of Fleck and Kilbane would be a superb addition.

Thorn: Inevitable Keogh will leave, we want 2 strikers,Edjenguele still on cards

Easy, stay for a season and get no fee: this year is our best chance of getting out of L1, and we have more chance with Keogh than without. His transfer fee will make not a pin-prick in our debts-sorry, SISU's debt to SISU:jerkit:-and we will not see a penny of it re-invested in the side anyway...

Easy fella, Napoleon has been out of power for some time; we're mates with the cheese-eating monkey-surrenderers now!

    Keogh's leaving...

That's right, forgot that, we did re-invest a fraction of the Turner fee. Still almost a year since we spent a fee though, and we've sold Lukas and Gael for big bucks since.

    Keogh's leaving...

Oh btw, we won't re-invest the fee: how many players have we signed for a fee in the last 2 years? Dunn and that's yer lot I think!
  14. Nonleagueherewecome

    Keogh's leaving...

Essentially, we don't know. It's all gossip and fuelled by an unprovable supposed quote by Richard Wood. But given our record in the last three pre-seasons of not selecting our best player for any games, and then him being suddenly fully fit and signed by another club, I think you can take it...

    Roy O'Donovan

ROD works really hard, has good movement, loves the club and is possibly our quickest player. The problem is that his movement and pace sometimes put him in good positions, and that's where his shortcoming strikes: a lack of composure. He's a confidence player, like Baker, and if he bags a goal...

Too injury prone. Murphy is plenty good enough for L1-so is Chris Dunn IMO!

What are you implying? I went to every single home game last year! I shall challenge you to a duel for slighting my loyalty, Sir!
