I don't think you can argue that a good goalkeeper and back line will lead to clean sheets. He made some absolutely fantastic saves last season and I think you'd be hard pushed to find better at this level.

Yep, not because they support Cov but because they were caught up in the emotion of potentially seeing big teams coming to the CBS. These fans would of course get hooked and keep their season ticket in future. But the key to pushing them into the initial outlay was the prospect of the Prem.

I disagree. There’s plenty of local fans who would’ve bought a ticket for the chance to see big clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchestersssss at the CBS. Now that prospect is gone and our chance to hook them as fans has gone.

The club really missed the boat. Last week was the right time to get them on sale. Whilst the “plastic fans” as some like to call them were willing to sign up for the season.

We really don't know how wealthy he is. Is it reasonable to ask the guy to put £10m into squad investment when he's just bought the club for who knows how many million?
