This is my body battery for the last week. I first showed symptoms on Sunday. It knackered me out on Tuesday and Wednesday but the rest of the week really has shown how I’ve been with it. If everyone was as mild as I’ve been then it would be the end of the pandemic for sure. Let’s hope this is a...

I don’t think you can get immune to it to be honest. My Mrs had it in October and currently has it again. She’s triple vaxxed but has still been rough both times. I’m struggling to see the point of vaccines, knowing two people who have had it and not been as ill as the mrs. I’m still fully...

I felt worse from my booster last Wednesday than I do from having covid this Wednesday. Does that mean the vaccine works? I thought it wouldn’t work fully for 14 days after the booster?

Colds and flu are types of coronavirus so it’s not really incredible is it. Edit: apparently flu is influenza and not coronavirus. Just proves the misinformation on the internet. Apologies for confusion.

If everyone is only affected mildly like me at the moment then, yeah let everyone get it. I’ve had worse colds however I’m only a couple of days in and I am crapping myself that it’ll get worse.

I’m happy with the 7 days. I started to feel rough Sunday, negative lateral flow both Sunday and Monday but positive today. With the 7 day rule I can be back out on Sunday if I test negative Friday and Saturday. That’s only a few days after my lateral flow and what will be 3 days after the pcr...

Well I was planning on getting back to it this week. I had a good run on Sunday but started to feel rough not long after. Now got the dreaded covid so I won’t be going anywhere for a week or so.

The first bit is all good, reasonably flat. After the halfway point it noticeably undulating. Make sure you save plenty for the last km as it’s usually into a right twat of a wind. It’s a nice race though and you get free running socks.

On the pitch tomorrow at half time!

River, you got away with one there my friend. That left split your eye open. Although I had you winning on the card. At least now you can move on with the experience of a dirty southpaw and no loss on the record. Get that eye healed up, watch the replay. Woodhall was bang on, when you slowed...

@Travs the ressi is at the bottom of coalpit fields. It runs alongside the canal up to hawkesbury. I was over the pit in the summer on the mtb and see how it could be good hard running in the winter. I’m half decent on hills already, during cov half I scooted up hollyhurst so fast it was...

@Travs you ask how I found it…. I really enjoyed it, the start was fast the middle was long with a couple of boggy sections and the end, that final hill could do with steps. I ran a fairly decent pace for my current fitness with 4:50/km average. Butrue cold really got on my chest for the first...
