Do you want to discuss boring politics?

To be fair people deserved better than the coalition of 2010, so I don’t know why Labour decided to cosplay Tory lite in the 2015 election. Let’s hope for all our sakes that Starmer isn’t going down the same line.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It must have been a shit speech… you’re not even trying to defend it 😂

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

    Shamima Begum

There’s a whole host of people on social media arguing she’s old enough to take responsibility for her actions at 15, whilst simultaneously saying that 16 is too young to be able to apply for a GRC. Work that one out.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

That’s more of a detailed manifesto than Starmer has managed 😉

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

People make mistakes in school with pronouns - I know I have before. I don’t think there would be any sanctions unless we were talking about sustained and deliberate targeting, essentially bullying.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I was explaining the school position that was all, it’s also my only real frame of reference to be honest. For me there are two completely separate issues going on here that have somehow become intertwined. Firstly I think the GRC is a no-brainer. It’s a piece of paper that allows someone to...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I have no time for Nandy at all. I mentioned schools because it’s a real misconception of what happens in them regarding gender etc which stokes emotive feelings in a lot of people, but the reality is that children are safe and protected at all times. I do have a daughter yes so I can...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Just reading this now - if this is happening in an education setting you need to contact OFSTED asap as it’s against the law.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Stop conflating 2 completely separate issues together… even if you didn’t intend to. Up to the age of 16 a young person can get all the advice they want, but they can’t change anything legally or otherwise. They get to have their preferred name and pronouns used in school if they wish and every...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Changing your mind on a policy (nationalisation) that is popular across the voting political spectrum is just plain stupid if you’d prefer.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I didn’t need to - the manifesto spoke for itself.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Or maybe asking the question of what they are going to do with the opportunity? Do something transformative for the country or just be a glorified Cameron spiv?

They are obviously confident he’s not going to rock the establishment boat.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

They could try that - but it would be a much easier attack line to say ‘You lied your way to the Labour leadership, who’s to say you wouldn’t do it again if PM’

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I reckon I could vote for someone running on this platform. Know anyone?
