Updated CCFC lowest ever league attendences

I'm not certain, but to be honest it doesn't really matter. £11.5k per week for all senior players is not sustainable to stay in league 1. It would be difficult to stay in league 2 with those sort of figures.

Updated CCFC lowest ever league attendences

What we looking at then figure wise? Club turnover can't be anymore than £1m this season. So only £600k for players wages, over the course of a season that works out at about £500 per week per player (based on a squad of 22)! I know youth players don't count, so in reality it will be nearer...

    WCCC New name

I would question as to whether the majority are Birmingham residents. Train back over here is always busy after a Warwickshire game.

As strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided

We are united though. Nearly 90% of last seasons attendees aren't attending this year. If it was the opposite way round (90% were attending) you would say the fanbase were still united behind the club.

Updated CCFC lowest ever league attendences

Or perhaps its because the 3rd lowest ever league attendance has just been announced, despite a healthy away following? There's a programme on BBC2 right now about the cold war, yet even on that there's less paranoia than on here.

    WCCC New name

Yep. Some pointless 1970's bureaucracy cannot erase 1000 years of history. Coventry will always be in Warwickshire as far as I'm concerned.

    WCCC New name

Using the same logic Lancashire don't play in Lancashire, Middlesex don't play Middlesex, and Surrey don't play in Surrey. It is worth remembering that Edgbaston is actually just one of the grounds that Warwickshire play at. The whole idea of County Cricket is that they play games all over the...

    Birmingham Bears

Its supposed to represent the ancient county of Warwickshire, not some smokey industrial area that only become a city in 1889. WCCC represent the current boundaries of Coventry & Warwickshire, Solihull and only some of Birmingham. Everyone forgets that not all of Birmingham was in Warwickshire...

I agree with your last line, I know no one wants to be playing there (accept maybe Rfc and Andreasb), but I believe that by going they are unwittingly supporting it. Like I say its like supporting a political party. You vote for someone you broadly agree with, your never going to agree with...

No its about supporting our city. Not sure why that part is difficult to understand. What connection do I have with Northampton? Can I just ask, whenever you've voted for a political party at an election, does that mean you agree with all of their policies?

The world isn't black and white, there is a line, the final straw you might call it. Im not saying that those of you that go want to be playing at sixfields, but at the moment that is the most important issue surrounding the club. Therefore by attending you are unknowingly condoning the...

    JR Review

I agree, and yet Sisu's incompetence has created a unique situation where their privately owned sports business has performed worse than a publically owned arena. Quite an achievement.
