    Update on ticket situation

They seem unwilling to answer it.

Quickest way away from the Ricoh?

If your a fast walker park at The Hub. Easy to get away from there, you can be down by Coundon Wedge Drive in 5 mins from there.

    Update on ticket situation

Think that was block 8, looking at it in that picture Crewe had blocks 6 & 7.

    Update on ticket situation

Yep, if you like sitting behind the goal it looks like your screwed for the Yeovil game. Both ends unavailable according to the online sales site.

    Update on ticket situation

Now that I agree with. To sell 28k tickets in two weeks is good. If we're saying that the club haven't been able to keep up with the demand then that is disappointing but forgivable and we would just hope they will learn from those mistakes. What is annoying people, well me anyway, is the vague...

    Update on ticket situation

By what measure would you consider it a success?

    Update on ticket situation

There is significant for right and wrong reasons. Yeah you just care about yourself as always. Typical champagne socialist.

    Update on ticket situation

Yeah I advocate that. If seats are going to be kept back from city fans we will just have to borrow some of Gillingham's.

    Update on ticket situation

So if come the end of the season there is a potential championship title game you will happily to see empty seats and not go yourself because you got to go to a meaningless Yeovil game? What strange logic you have. In 50 years time the Yeovil game will be forgotten, the Gillingham game will...

Is cost of policing real reason for ticket mess?

Exactly. Police presence at a football game isn't a legal requirement.

    Update on ticket situation

People want to go to this game though. Disgrace that they are being deprived of that when there are thousands of empty seats.

    Update on ticket situation

According to this the SAG have no legal authority and all responsibility of the safety of attendees at an event rests with the organisers. Does suggest that empty seats will be the club's doing an no one else's. http://www.hse.gov.uk/event-safety/safety-advisory-groups.htm

    Update on ticket situation

At last! Hopefully on sale soon as.

    Should of waited

All the city fans who can't get a ticket, just go and buy them in the 4000 Gillingham end. See how the SAG likes that.
  15. bigfatronssba

    Should of waited

All this with the police though, not all games have a police presence anyway. Lots of games it's just left to the stewards. Under normal circumstances would Cov v Gillingham be a policed game?
  16. bigfatronssba

    Should of waited

6000 empty seats when demand is there to fill them is frankly shite.
  17. bigfatronssba

    Should of waited

It's not deliberate, just incompetence. If you can think of a legitimate reason as to why the amount of tickets made available for the JPT game can't be made available now then I'd like to hear it.

Can Ricoh Ever Truly Be A Football Ground

I always wonder, when people use the argument the "Ricoh isn't our home because its rented", was Highfield Road not our home 2002-2005?

Can Ricoh Ever Truly Be A Football Ground

This picture looks a pretty soulless and desolate stadium doesn't it? Real football clubs have their soul in the years of history, their unique place within their town/city, the atmosphere generated by their loyal fans, the songs they sing, they story behind their badge. Anyone can have...

Can Ricoh Ever Truly Be A Football Ground

I seem to recall the legends lounge having a lot of CCFC memorabilia in there. A lot of history of the club.
