    I think that's true of all the parties and seems to be actively encouraged by the lobby media who think it's great politics. Remember back in 2019 when the Tories were able to tell obvious lies without question? The same thing is happening again (to a lesser extent though in truth) to Labour.

    Interest rates are high as it's the only tool the bank of England has to combat inflation. It is nothing at all to do with spending during COVID.
