Match Thread Coventry City v Manchester United - FA Cup Semi-Final

That's bonkers isn't it. The slow mo video always looks so much worse doesn't it. How else is the defender supposed to win the ball? Try and tackle, but not propel his leg forward at all? That's one mess of a video clip.

What a mess. Surely it wasn't the intention to use VAR in this manner. That's like someone trying to teach linear algebra. Painful. And absolutely nuts.

Incredibly scary stuff, but also at times, very funny, though worryingly funny.😂

Sometimes what he says makes sense, but a lot of the time it's nonsensical gibberish. And not just normal, nonsensical gibberish, but bigly nonsensical gibberish.

Definitely something not right with Rashford. He's a shadow of his former self right now.

Okay. Obviously entitled to your opinion.👍 I feel that we have now, after the Hull game. Which is obviously a very obvious conclusion to come to. We have to face facts that we have zero chance of now making the top 6. I have no idea what sort of team Robins will put out tomorrow.

Yes, because it will have been the last game of the season. Robins said on Wednesday before the game that he found it very difficult for him to put a team out against Hull Do you think that wasn't true?

So hard to tell, as it is for anyone with mental health issues. I haven't picked up on anything or heard anyone else mention it.

No, he isn't, but like I say, he's pretty brutally honest and doesn't make excuses very often at all. He says it as it is. Can't remember which game it was, but very recently he DID say he set us up wrong. Was it Ipswich? He's a very straight talking guy and says it how it is. So if he says...

Evo, if you have watched Robins as manager for the last 7 years, you know he often plays things close to his chest Quite often when players are injured, the first we know about it is when we see the next team sheet and the player or players are missing If Robins says they are fatigued, they...

Or just use it for clear things the officials have missed, like "the player came from his own half" and foul play such as shirt pulling, elbowing, punching etc. The goal line technology seems to work okay doesn't it? Basically, stop using it for everything.

It has to be Blackburn. Those are the rules. We're not allowed to play anyone else If we could choose, we'd all go for Rotherham obviously.

Yeah, I knew, but my missus didn't and she was shocked. Very brave of him to go through that all again on screen.

What happened? I don't follow the draft unfortunately. Just see who's got who after and know practically zero about college football

This fits in exactly with my stance. I think that's outside, but if it goes to VAR, I would be saying too close to call and no obvious error and go back to the on-field decision.

    Mark Robins

And McAllister, though he was forced to play kids that simply weren't up to it at times.

It doesn't look a pen to me, but if that went to VAR, I think it would have to go back to the on-field decision, as there is no obvious error. Looks fractionally outside, but it was still a very daft challenge.

The attempt was rather pathetic though don't you think and we can't be certain it would have been a red card. He could well have just whacked the ball as hard as he could, with an aim for the ball to end up in a goal kick, or going out to the side for a throw. As Oggy was a top keeper, I am...
