CRFC not affected by WASPS arrival!

Me going to Wasps isn't going to make a difference though is it?

They didn't sell it until after the club returned though so that isn't a valid reason as to why we played in Northampton. Also, overestimating ACL's income during the Northampton year had nothing to do with us playing there either so again that isn't a valid reason is it?

CRFC not affected by WASPS arrival!

Ok then, that's your view. I only care about what's good for my city and my sports clubs. Going to the Wasps game had no adverse affect on CCFC, CRFC, or CBIHC, and had a positive affect for my city. So there is no reason not to go is there?

    Where have I embraced it?

I get the things about Wasps limiting Cov's potential, but I do think the interest in Rugby is helping them, and much of that interest has been generated by wasps. If Cov do it right they can do well out of it. Them being locked out of the BPA and facing liquidation now seems a lifetime ago...

Rugby Council still denies 'new stadium' contact...

An informal discussion though would indicate that discussions never got off the ground and therefore these were never serious sites.

So your saying now then that CCFC doesn't bring anything to the local economy?

But they are getting 4x the amount of customers here than in London. Its obvious that more customers will need more staff.

The move to Coventry will have created jobs overall. That is a good thing.

Lol so your saying the Ricoh and surrounding businesses could lose the Wasps and it wouldn't affect business? Are you really saying that?

Are you telling me as fact that CCFC couldn't have rented out the arena on matchdays? It is usually empty on matchdays anyway as there is no parking available for any other events to take place. They could have easily done a deal with ACL. Your attitude to it is exactly the point I am making...

If Wasps move back to London there will be less going on at the Ricoh, therefore less staff are needed. When Wasps were at Adams Park I would wager that they employed a lot less staff than they do now. Supplying the needs of 20k fans is obviously going to require more staff than looking after...

No you wouldn't. But do you think in the summer months when there are no games that clubs are cash flow positive? I would bet that every club in the country is cash flow negative during the summer. What Fisher did was take a snapshot of the clubs financial position at a specific time. In doing...

Not necessarily. You get paid say £2k at the start of the month. You are then cash flow positive. Over the course of the month your bills total £2.5k. So you have lost £500 in that month, but you were still cash flow positive at the start of the month. Being cash flow positive can just be a...

I was against going to Sixfields because IMO boycotting was putting pressure on Sisu to bring the club home. My motives were for the good of CCFC. Going to Wasps makes no difference whatsoever to CCFC.

I gave the Wasps a go yesterday and I have to say I was very impressed with the set up. The all day entertainment in the Jag hall was great and really gave it the feel of a party. You can really see the pride they have in the Ricoh and love to show it off. The stadium looked great. Simple...

The man is an absolute cretin, and if it wasn't for the fact we are owed by a daft cow who knows nothing about football, he would have been sacked ages ago.
