    Ricoh - Gut Feeling

What legals do you think they won't drop? There are no legals, as established and confirmed many, many times. Why do people keep falling for "the legals", a line that is only pushed by Wasps and the Council?

The Players who will be forgotten

Agree on the others, but Adam Barton put in a shift?? Must have blinked and missed that one! One of the laziest and most ineffective players we've had the misfortune to watch over the last 10 years (and there is a long list to choose from).

Standing in the pissing rain at Forest Green.

I was talking about the relegation season, not the 3-3 this season...

Standing in the pissing rain at Forest Green.

The two lowest of the low points: the Oxford game you mentioned (complete lack of effort), and Northampton away in January (poisonous atmosphere, flares and pitch invasions). That was the day we knew we were going down.

Standing in the pissing rain at Forest Green.

Rained from when we left Bucks to when we got home. Couldn't see 50 yards on the Severn Bridge. Highlight of that day was the save from Burge, one of the best I've ever seen live. We were happy to scramble a point as we had a guaranteed 3 points coming up against Yeovil on Easter Monday. That...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Perhaps the country is finally starting to see him for the vacuous cretin that he is?

So in that case, can you explain again why you don't understand it?

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

No, I'm not wrong. The debate is about what can happen from Wednesday onwards, not what we can do today, tomorrow or Tuesday. The PM clearly stated that from Wednesday we can "drive to other destinations". In the absence of any further definition we can all interpret "other destinations" in any...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

What you are quoting will soon be out of date so is irrelevant. From Wednesday he said we would be able "to drive to other destinations". Whatever the f**k that means.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

He said "you can drive to other destinations" which is about as vague as it gets. If it's crystal clear to you, can you clarify for those of us who are hard of understanding please?

We just had a hawk land in our garden

Very true, and not only for food spilt on the ground; we spotted a rat wrapped around a hanging bird feeder last summer (thought it was a squirrel at first). Pest control people said at least 50% of their callouts for rats were due to people feeding birds.

We just had a hawk land in our garden

There are literally thousands down here in the Chilterns. I believe 4 or 5 pairs (from Wales?) were introduced on the Rothschild estate near Stokenchurch (J5 M40) in the early 90s and have since spread over a 40 mile radius (certainly as far as Bicester northwards and Swindon to the west). Still...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Not sure how his image can decline any further, it went past rock bottom long ago. What the f**k did we do to deserve this moron and his cronies/sycophants to be in charge when strong and effective leadership is needed?

Robins post match interview - style

Along the lines of "last time you beat Ipswich, you then lost to Shrewsbury. Does that worry you playing Shrewsbury again next week?" Might not be word for word but that was the gist of it. Robins congratulated him on finding something negative to say.

Robins post match interview - style

You're right, you are easily pleased. I don't think either Eakin or Winch care about the club, they have far more glamorous clubs to fawn over. Eakin's commentary is abysmal and Winch's questions are inane at best - no wonder Robins treats them with thinly disguised contempt. Winch's ludicrous...

Meeting with Joy Seppala & Dave Boddy - Thursday 27th February 2020

One of you should definitely go, now that you've managed to get a foot in the door. No need for another vote -the previous vote gives you the mandate to represent the vast majority of the active members of this forum.

    Oggy

I've never listened to another local radio commentary so have nothing to compare it to, so Eakin might well be better than others - it doesn't make his incompetence acceptable though. No criticism of Oggy at all, he has been excellent every time I've heard him.

    Oggy

Christ, that doesn't bear thinking about.

    Oggy

Not really worried how he travels to games. His job is as a commentator for the public funded broadcaster and we should expect a basic level of competence which sadly he doesn't show. It was only when I watched the Fleetwood game on ifollow that I realised the sheer number of mistakes he makes...

    Oggy

I only tend to hear 20-30 minutes after the matches, but Oggy has been a breath of fresh air compared to Benno; he has taken to broadcasting very quickly and is very knowledgeable/professional. It just needs Clive to learn from him now, although that is probably a lost cause. I physically cannot...
