Agreed. We have good cover for Dabo in Pask, Burroughs, Da Costa (when fit) and Lowe (who looked promising in pre-season). Not sure we need any more, so zero chance that Robins has Sam in mind for this role.

Ok, I stand corrected. But that was in an emergency for the remainder of the game, Robins would never pick him as a starter on the right in a month of Sundays.

Based on what? Sam is very, very left footed, and I don’t think he ever played there. Sterling did it against Sunderland once, maybe thinking of that? Happy to be corrected if I’m mistaken.

Agreed, he did play well early last season when we were playing 4 at the back. The minute we switched to wing-backs (half-time at home to Fleetwood?) his days were numbered, he cannot play that role anywhere near the level required. No criticism of him, it’s just the way it is. Robins now has...

Match Thread Coventry City vs QPR

Agreed, they had (and still have) major defensive issues but they still finished 13th, mainly because they were 6th top scorers in the league. If we manage to limit teams to 2 chances per game (like we did last night) then we will have a very decent season.

Match Thread Coventry City vs QPR

From other comments on here I think you’re in the minority thinking it was a clear penalty, but it’s all down to opinions. I stand by what I said that our defending was good, with the exception of the penalty (when he didn’t need to make the challenge) and the mix-up from the corner when they...

Match Thread Coventry City vs QPR

I’m not sure how you could describe our defending as “piss poor”. We defended well for most of the match, restricting a decent championship team (with a few exceptional players) to very few clear chances; I can only remember the penalty (which was dubious), the mistake from the corner which...

It was very unusual to see him do that, but they obviously couldn’t just leave him unmarked as he couldn’t be offside from the goal kick...

Just thinking the same thing - the patterns are the same but with 9 different players, nice 👍

Championship Club Membership - 1st Sept

I must have missed the free away games - where has that been mentioned? I thought it would be £10 for each away game on iFollow on a match by match basis.

    Championship

The first leg of the semi final was convincing (largely due to the clown in Fleetwood's goal), the second leg was a draw, and they nicked a late winner tonight with a penalty (which was offside in the build-up). Not sure how that is 3 convincing wins!

The Wycombe prediction is backed up by our 100% record against them this century.

    Championship

Taking Sunday league football to the Championship, let's hope it is short-lived. But as you say, at least it's 6 points for us.

So why didn't you say that instead of perpetuating the "legals" myth?
