    The 2015 holiday thread

We are in the Al Garve at present, having amazing weather. Met two City fans so far who noticed tattoo on my leg. might be a poor team at present but still very proud to say who I support and where I am from.

Jimmy hill statue moving to gosford green?

The attitude of the Trust ( as a whole ) has NOT changed. As For the warm welcome to the Wasps, I presume that's aimed at me personally as I have been to a game, but you will find that a great number of the crowd are also City fans. With regards to you not getting involved in the Trust, what...

Jimmy hill statue moving to gosford green?

Firstly my comments were personal not that of the Trust, secondly you will be pleased to hear that my time on the Trust Board has to come to an end ( unless I wish to put myself forward again) in July. My own personal view is the statue should say where it is, like the view of the majority. One...

    Gerrard's Send Off

Not and never will change my view of Liverpool, regardless of SG. They stopped me seeing my team play in Europe and I like to think that by doing so we may not be in the situation we are in now. However, good luck to him.

Jimmy hill statue moving to gosford green?

Wrong place. If some supporters think that a wig and a flag are disrespectful, I believe the statue will receive a lot worse being on the Green. No one will see it, have any idea who he is and only a matter of time before its daubed in graffiti. At least at the Ricoh if anything does appear on...

    Stadium Name Change ?

But to get a better stadium it will mean more debt, the only way it may have any potential is to be other side of the City to where we are now, inside the City boundary and look at a differernt kind of none football revenue, not conferences or exhibitions. However, this will involve even bigger...

    Stadium Name Change ?

Are all our leisure facilities used to full potential in the City? If SISU built us a new stadium they would be competing against the Ricoh, also it's another major debt for the club and by time it's built we will have an even smaller fan base.

    Stadium Name Change ?

Not so sure any discussions are taking place are about anything long term, if the club committed to say next 20 years then the Wasps would have to make dicisions.

    Stadium Name Change ?

Why do we need another stadium in the City?

    Stadium Name Change ?

But Dave, either option has to be discussed, are our owners talking to Wasps?
  14. S

    Stadium Name Change ?

Do not disagree Nick, but one of the thing our owners always let themselves down on is grasping any opportunity to sit down with people and discuss/ negotiate. The new stadium concept is a none starter.

    Jimmy's Statue

Agree Jas, much more to be concerned about than a little light hearted fun, however I would rather it was a Wasps flag not a Tigers flag.

    Stadium Name Change ?

Why would Wasps be bothered about another sporting club who are only here for a few years, am sure if SISU made a long term commitment to the Stadium then maybe they would agree to making the place look like it was home to both teams? At present its two years, from what I can see Mr Fisher/ Mr...

    New stadium meeting with RBC

If if they want 24/7 income and do not want to compete against the Ricoh, why not build a hotel near the stadium. Put it in the name of CCFC, pick up all the accomodation, extra small projects from the stadium, 24/7. in a stadium they will not be using the pitch except for games so it's an...

    Saturdays confirmed.

Now is the ideal time for our owners to sit down with Wasps and get a long term agreement in place. They could try and earn a little respect and openly say the new stadium idea is pie in the sky and they intend to work with the stadiums present owners to secure a long tem rental agreement.
