Win promotion or the FA Cup ?

It wouldn’t be a one-off at all, West Ham did it in 1980 and Sunderland in 1973. I’m sure there were some before that, but that’s the two I remember. Just because you don’t know about it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Match Thread Stoke City - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 17th Feb

Really, they’re monitoring the work they do? That’s amazing. I’d always assumed Robins guessed.

Preston Game moved due to FAcup

The point being that Maidstone have far more to complain about than we do.

Preston Game moved due to FAcup

Yes, I’m sure the 1950s were wonderful

Preston Game moved due to FAcup

Friday/Monday is hardly different to playing Saturday/Tuesday which we do on a regular basis, so not sure what the problem is or why we would be unhappy. Maidstone are playing Saturday/Monday, I can understand why they would complain about that. Longish trip back from Taunton on Saturday...

Not tonight he hasn’t. And was never going to.

Why does that make any difference? Robins isn’t going to further punish a player for being sent off when he’s already been suspended for 2 games. If he leaves Binks in (which he might) then it’s not because he’s punishing Kitching.

    NOW who’s our penalty taker

Robins said it himself on Saturday.

Match Thread Plymouth (A)- Wednesday 14th Feb

He brought Kitching straight back in after his previous red card, there’s absolutely no reason why he won’t do it again tonight. And he should, he is the better defender.

    Torp song

“These kind of comments”? It was a polite request to respect our players’ names and spell them correctly. I’m sorry if four letter words are too difficult for you.

    NOW who’s our penalty taker

That was one of the stupidest calls I’ve ever heard on CWR (and there’s strong competition every week).

Probably! I personally would expect Robins to take more responsibility but he clearly doesn’t think he needs to.

    The queues

Of course not, there is always room for improvement and I’m sure the club are looking to do that. But in the meantime, common sense says that you adapt behaviour to meet the current circumstances rather than repeating the same behaviour and expecting a different outcome.

    The queues

I’m sure it will improve over time as they get used to managing bigger crowds on a regular basis. In the meantime, my original answer of getting there earlier or risking queuing still stands.

I agree, but that’s a choice Robjns has clearly made so I am not going to stress about it.

    The queues

Carry on queuing and moaning, it’s all the same to me. Not sure why you wouldn’t change your behaviour to adapt to circumstances though, it’s what most sensible people would do.

    The queues

Two choices, get there earlier or accept you might have to queue. Not difficult.

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 11th Feb

Robins doesn’t designate a penalty taker so he’s clearly not bothered (otherwise he would do it). He said on Saturday he didn’t want to micro manage it and is happy to let the players sort it out amongst themselves. It’s a non-issue, not sure why people are worrying about it.
