Thomas laughing/smiling after he had done it wasn’t a good look either. Glad he thought it was funny.

At first sight from block 16 it looked as though he just hit it straight, but if he had actually hit it straight it would have comfortably cleared the post. Hitting it an angle like that actually made it look a class finish. No idea wtf he was doing.

They were being embarrassing twats. Phones should be on the list of banned items if that’s what they are going to do with them.

It’s probably outside iFollow’s terms of use but that’s a very different thing to being illegal.

It shows how much the club has improved recently if this is the most important thing left to complain about.

That’s not the proper cup though ;-)

I’ve no idea what he’s worth, but to be honest it doesn’t matter. If West Ham (or other PL team) want him badly enough, we’re not going to get him. MacAnthony clearly thinks he’s going to the PL. But yes, watching them on Tuesday they definitely have a lot of good young players, playing a style...

Well we certainly beat Macclesfield 7-0 in the third round, can’t remember us having any bigger scores than that in the cup.

West Ham were bidding for Edwards in the January window (according to MacAnthony), we’re going to struggle to compete with them if they renew their interest.

Probably because there are two teams involved and it’s not all about us. I’m sure the EFL didn’t even consider it, but if they had, why would Preston agree to a midweek game rather playing it at the weekend? That would mean them having a 4 day gap followed by a 10 day gap (rather than 6 and 8)...

Your implication was that we have only agreed a deal for him, i.e. not signed him, and that it mattered that we hadn’t paid for him. Which it doesn’t. Yes, fair cop on irrelevant.

We have signed EMC, not “agreed a deal” for him. He is our player. It doesn’t matter that we haven’t paid for him yet, that’s not irrelevant.

MacAnthony said there was an option.

Well this final will be at the start of April so not sure it makes much difference. It’s a different matter if they make the playoff final though.

DMc said he’d given Doug first option on one of their players. I assume all that means is that he’ll advise us if any bids are made and give us the option of matching it or beating it. From what he said on his podcast he clearly likes doing business with us.
