Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

I would guess that SISU will be banking on the club being promoted this season and potentially adding value. If this looks likely expect an interim deal to be struck with ACL/Wasps, as by that time JR2 will [hopefully] have been concluded, so they can maximise a sell off. If SISU lose the case...

    George Thomas

The Thomas contract situation is a reflection on the tight financial situation the club is in. The club has limited themselves to relatively short term contracts to reduce the business risk. During better times the club was able to commit to longer term contracts for developing talent...and that...

    Squad churn

I think you have a valid point in that the wholesale changes to the team is something that successful teams have difficulty in managing well. I remember when Bobby Gould took over the team from Dave Sexton and we saw a mass turnover of players. In the longer term that provided the basis for our...

    Court Match Thread

It will be interesting to see if SISU adjust their strategy. Given that they need to find somewhere for the club to play for 2018-19 and that will require partnership working. Something they've failed consistently to embrace. Hopefully they will now realise that repeating the same tactic and...

    Court Match Thread

The reading of proceedings this morning looks like SISU clutching at straws. The judge seeking clarification on what they are challenging.....and the QC referring to something buried on page 412 of their submission.

    Transfers this week

I would think that Robins will be focused on moulding the first team practices around those he's banking on being key players this season. The real positive is that the club has the core of the team working together from the first day of pre-season.

Record season ticket sales connected to new owners @NFFC

I appreciate that this is NOT a CCFC matter, but it's interesting to see the impact of new owners at Notts Forest & given the fact their supporters have not endured two relegations in recent years. "Nottingham Forest supporters have created a new record for season card sales. Sales have risen...

    Which is your favourite ?

Has to be the 1969-73 Green and Black kit for me!

    Court hearing

The fact that CCFC is cited in the JR2 is of concern, as clearly the legal costs for this case will partly be apportioned to the club. If this is correct.....and please contradict me if I've got this wrong......then funds raised from Season tickets and match day revenues will be directed towards...

    James Collins

If Joan does sign for us, we will lead the way by being the first club in the EFL to have a plastic surgeon on the sports science support staff.

    What they want

Never mind getting worked up .... we are more likely to give up on the club. Joy clearly doesn't want to sell

Chris Stokes signs 2 year deal!

Credit to the club and MR in completing this contract! Hopefully it will influence a couple of our younger talent to stick with us

The SBT have joined forces with the Consortium...

I disagree. This looks like basic stakeholder engagement to give a better chance for their business plan to succeed if they ever got control of the club

The SBT have joined forces with the Consortium...

The amount of money to speculate on CCFC would be limited. However, it's an obvious and correct move by the consortium if they are to boost income streams after any purchase. They'll need a boost in attendances & merchandise sales, as well as trying to grow the fan base from current levels...

Jordan Willis... would you keep or sell??

I would keep, as he's versatile and I think MR could improve him

    David Smith-What Went Wrong?

My recollection was that he had a limited number of skills to beat a player & once full backs had been briefed on these, he was ineffective.

Why have the signings stopped ?

MR obviously has used all the kit money on players. I think we might need to have a raffle to buy the team some new kit for the season?
