That was an "interesting" deal. Today, we might have been investigated under the money laundering regulations???

Was there any Kremlin funded involvement in this poll?

A number of members have promoted JP going out on loan. I personally can't see that happening, as he's going to be needed here. He's a different type of forward to the others we currently have and even if we do sign a replacement for McNulty, I think JP will be used as a back up.

    Sisu' latest accounts

I would be interested to know if any of the interest charged on loans by SISU to the club was realised? Previously it has been stated that this has been added to the debt.

Match Thread West Brom v Coventry City Friendly

Coming back from an ACL injury could take him some time to return to previous level of performance. We may need to lower our expectations that he could be a major influence in the first half of the season

    Worst Ever CCFC XI

Chris Chilton..... a centre forward we bought from Hull who was awful ! Surely one of our worst all time players

    Court Case Thread! June 2018

As expected - the legal system works [slowly] for the judiciary, so they can maximise fees..............or am I being unnecessarily cynical???

So anyone regretting the early season ticket buy now McNulty sold ?

I remember the same rubbish being spouted when we sold Huckerby to Leeds, then replaced him with Robbie Keane.............that worked out okay!

    Biamou Signs 3 Year Contact

Is this a deliberate ploy by MR to upset Grendel so he decides to move on and abuse players, who he claims to support from another club?

    Callum Wilson

Let’s hope Bournemouth get relegated next season, then they’ll have to offload Wilson’s wage bill. That could be a nice little top up to our 19-20 campaign

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

It’s clear that McNulty has great awareness within a game, but he’s not a great athlete. He looks like he gains weight easily and it’s notable that his improved performances came later in the season, after some great coaching and lifestyle management. Getting £1.2M for a player we picked up on...

Is a new Goalkeeper a priority

I also forgot about Eric McManus - good spot.....as for Ramsbottom carrying on after the great Bill. I'm can't remember.....is there anyone else who can help on this one?

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

I've been shown round Readings training ground too a few years ago..................my contract must have got lost in the post? That or they realised I was too old and crap!

Is a new Goalkeeper a priority

Spot on - the only other keeper I remember playing during Bill Glaziers time was.....Neil Ramsbottom, who had a great game when he deputised.

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

Whilst there are still some people still wanting to buy football clubs, but we are long past the peak of external investment. Some of the big money from China is drying up, due to their government taking a dim view of such things. They are facing a debt crisis and the impact of a trade war and...

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

Correct - In terms of control over the players wages, etc, but we've lost the option of purchasing 50% of the Ricoh from the Higgs Charity, when we went into administration. The lack of access to 7 day a week revenues from the ground is a barrier to any takeover.

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

Agree - MR & Doyle need to have a chat with him - emphasise the support he gets here & how much he's improved due to the coaching.

    Court Case Thread! June 2018

Good points - well made. The citizens of Coventry are no longer exposed to losses incurred at the Ricoh. The issue could be "Who would be a potential new business we would trust to maximise the value of the site"? Given that any liquidators would be seeking to sell the asset. Certainly CCC would...
