Agreed Kieran. Kelly is outstanding for us every week - and all players make mistakes. This one cost us. What I would say re: bullying is that I would like to see McFaz in there paired with either Rose/Hyam. McFaz would have commanded the box today and provided key leadership. As seen...

Gaz - laughing at your Jobello comment - as I think it's true! A little harsh on McCullam - the problem of the 4-3-3 that we play is that McCullam was often left playing against two men. I think Hiwula tried to help out but was not doing so consistently - and Hiwula is far from being a natural...

A point away from home after not playing well. O'Hare looked fantastic. Allen to come in and complete our midfield. Godden is class. Completely uncharacteristic error by Kelly - who is our best player every week - if not we'd be celebrating a smash and grab victory. Plenty of positives. Let's...

I highly rate both Hyam and Rose - but would prefer one of them to be paired with McFad. We miss his aerial dominance and leadership. Marosi worries me on crosses. Bring on O'Hare for Westbrooke. Hiwula bright early start - but we need to sort out what's happening on our left defensive side...

Foreign players who never really made it...

Nick Proschwitz on loan. Amazingly three years before us he was signed by Hull for £2.6 million. Last heard of being sacked by SC Paderborn 07 for exposing himself to a woman after a late night drinking session.

Good points Terry. I would say that Ndlovu was absolutely sensational but I would classify him more as an inside forward - funnily enough he would actually fit perfectly in our current 4-3-3. I see Hadji more as an attacking midfielder in a midfield 3. Hadji was an absolute gentleman and a...

Thanks for sharing Shepardo - always really interested in stories like yours. I don't think most people realise how competitive non-league football is and just how good you have to be. Fantastic to hear that you got back into the game after your illness - kudos to you.

Absolutely right Terry - still amazes me as I remember Waddle vs. Downs in a previous league game at HR. Waddle dominated the game and if Downsy was a boxer the fight would have been called off to save him further punishment. As for the Cup final, Bennett was the stand out forward on the pitch...

All opinions 'City Away Kit' - I would say that Sedgley was one of the 'over achievers' given his career after leaving us. I never had him marked down to be a super star in the game as a youth but he did very well for himself.

    CBD Drinks at St Andrews

Can we start a fund and distribute in industrial size quantities to those who have a serious mental break-down on here whenever we go 1-0 down on match days?

Not sure what others think - but in my view Richie Partridge was not managed at all well by McAllister. Richie was so brilliant in his start with us that he was effectively double marked in games after that. And was targeted by the opposition with the treatment - heavy challenges. As he was...

Lee Hurst. If only we could turn the clock back and have the coach break down on the trip to the army camp. Gouldy had lots of passion but putting the lads over an army obstacle course in pre-season was not one of his better ideas. Can you imagine Prem teams today making first teamers jump...

Love the 500-1! I met Downsy at a private house party around 1986 - I was a youngster. Whilst Killer and the lads were going mental and dancing to Michael Jackson - Killer nearly broke a chandelier and he was only warming up - Downsy was very happy to share a quiet beer with my Dad in the...

Half of the team under Slade looked as if they'd been stabbed in both legs immediately before kick off. Didn't prevent them from being picked week after week.

That's an interesting one. Older heads than mine will remember better than me but as someone very young I remember the HR faithful not altogether being that appreciative of Bodak. Although he looks brilliant on the highlight reels - I remember him as a luxury type player (sort of a Cov Le...

    Junior Brown to Scunthorpe

No idea if it was related to the injury and long lay off but my impression last season was that Brown was very suspect in his positioning and given that was prone to dive in very dangerously. I always expected one major error a game - as others pointed out that really cost us on a couple of...
