IF there is a new ground built........

Spot on AND as i posted earlier the city ground was originally in the city boundary anyway

IF there is a new ground built........

I won't! This is what ive been saying throughout this thread and the point is lots of other people won't go either!

IF there is a new ground built........

Thats a fairly big assumption and one that couldnt be proved until it actually happened. On the other side of the coin I live in Derbyshire (ex-of Manchester, hence the user name) but will not go to a home game unless its in Coventry.

IF there is a new ground built........

They are but entirely wrongly in my view and they have lost some of their fan base as a result.

    CCFC moving to Hinckley rumour

I would have agreed with you until we actually did go and play at Sixfields. I never thought that would happen either................

IF there is a new ground built........

Really struggling to understand your position Nick. The city boundary is not some ethereal line, its a properly defined boundary and if we were to play permanently outside of that boundary then we could no longer call ourselves Coventry City - more than that we would no longer BE Coventry City...

    CCFC moving to Hinckley rumour

Whilst I have no doubt that SISU will eventually get their grubby mits on the Ricoh and we will end up back there I can envisage us moving to Hinckley in the short term. Having our own ground again would allow us to play at 3pm on a Saturday again and it is closer to Cov which despite the strong...

See this as a building year

Promotion is our best route to being rid of SISU, a club in the champ is that much more appealing to a new owner than a club in league one. Best case scenario would be that SISU acquire ACL & the Freehold, we get promoted and then club and stadium are sold on as a job lot to new owners.

    Can someone confirm....

Unlikely to be signed until after April 2014 to be honest, in to the new financial year.

Bradford Game on at the Ricoh?

I'd be glad of anywhere to watch the game but chances of finding a pub showing the game in my neck of the woods are minimal.

    Could CCFC relocate to Hinckley

A move to Hinckley as our "new stadium" would be truly the end of CCFC for me personally, but the sad thing is i can easily see it happening. If they can abandon the Ricoh and play in Northampton then anything is possible.

Why the need to see Joy?

The pedant in me is compelled to point out that Rolls Royce is owned by BMW, it's Bentley that are owned by VW but your point still stands!

    Hinckley United Wound Up

The club only rented the ground didn't they? But you have to assume it would be for sale at a reasonable price though now with the winding up of its primary tenant

    Hinckley United Wound Up

Its not beyond the realms of possibility that SISU would look to buy the Hinckley stadium. Got to be cheaper than building a new ground from scratch, closer to Cov (just about). Stranger things have happened.

No more Coventry city football club

Sooner or later a "big club" will be liquidated. It almost happened with Pompey (and still might, far from safe) but it could easily be us given our present situation. You are right than in the past even failing clubs have been bailed out and allowed to carry on but the world is different now...

What will make Sisu the most money?

No doubt at this point they would like to acquire the Ricoh on the cheap, combine it with the club then sell both as a package for a profit. Seems unattainable at the moment though

    willis signs new deal

Im surprised that Willis was the first one to sign given that he see's Jordan Clarke chosen ahead of him every week despite it not being Clarke's position..................... Fair play to him though, have always rated him, hope he gets a run in the side

    Micky Adams

Got a lot of time for Micky Adams, thought he was hard done by when City gave him the push. Although he did sign some bilge but then so does every City manager...........
