I was speaking about CDM specifically right? Not CB.

All opinions KSB but there's no way you can play that position in the modern game at a high level without pace.

Playing CDM in the Championship - I can't see that it's the right position for Drysdale as he doesn't have the pace. Without pace you're going to get seriously exposed at this level in that position.

Don't get this at all. Kelly was very influential last season when he was fully fit. He easily stepped up to the level of the Championship. Like many others I see that Sheaf has potential but on the evidence of last season I don't see Sheaf starting ahead of Kelly at this time.

    Transfer Rumour Ian Maatsen

Watching the highlights, reminds me of a young left sided version of Danny Thomas. On that basis alone - instant favourite. Welcome Ian!!

    Attendances Next Season

You're losing another argument aren't you? So as always and true to form desperately resorting to nonsense to distract. Please have a day off and for once in your life stop embarrassing yourself.

    Attendances Next Season

Good job then that the taxis you've ordered with certainty for the past 4 seasons didn't show up then isn't it?

    George Curtis

George and John dancing on the Wembley turf holding the FA Cup; one of the most iconic images in our history. And not many people know this; frequently went miles out of his way to call in on Jimmy Hill in his final years as Jimmy was fighting dementia. A Coventry great on the pitch. A huge...

Got to give you some credit Moron, your taxi for Robins campaign (4 years in a row now is it?) - hands down the funniest thing I've read on here. Kudos where it's due.

No one Lordy. They've missed the training camp in Spain or been seen smiling in training with their present clubs. Bin 'em off. ;)

    Not a Good Start

Is this supposed to be an early dig at Bright without any evidence at all? If so leave the lad alone - he could be a superstar this season so welcome him back to the club. I seriously never fail to be amazed by the ability of some posters to find something to worry or complain about - we...

    Bright

Jesus Christ. Do us all a favour and for once have a day off Moron.

    Bright

some suggestions Hinckley cov are serious - this one wasn't entirely serious. but would love to see it in certain situations! point is...we have some serious attacking options this season. I'm also not in the camp of writing Godden off either - he's a class finisher and we missed him last...

    Bright

laughing kind of proves my point - so many choices up front. will edit!
  15. DannyThomas_1981

    Bright

Let's go crazy, Spurs under Ardiles style and a front 5 of Jones, Bright, Waghorn, Walker and Victor. O'Hare attacking midfielder. Godden first off the bench! :D

    Bright

I love a highly talented maverick - and trust in Robins - can't wait to see Bright back in the shirt. Absolute class.

I'm not being negative. I just said I'm not writing him off at all - right? It's tricky for any young player adjusting to the Champ and looking forward to seeing what he can do this season.

    Class by Bellingham

I stand by it Grendel Junior. In terms of the squad last year he had the most physicality in holding the ball up as the lone front man and his volley technique in scoring some of the most spectacular goals over the past 4 years was excellent - but I guess it's easier for some just to deride our...

That's ok procdoc and always respect your balanced opinion. My own view is that Kelly was far more influential when he played last season than Sheaf and they are different players - not writing Sheaf off at all - just what I saw last year.

Next time you post something positive Boosh my friend - I will be sure to comment on it. As I've probably previously said; my job took me overseas for over 20 years - and I don't think that makes me less of a fan than anyone else. I really like Shippers and want him to succeed but can't see how...
