    Some of our fans

That isn't passion though. Shouting "c**t" all game isn't showing passion..... its being a sad-arse twat. If i was Robins and some disgusting pissed-up slob had a go at me, i'd stand my ground and have a go bck.

    Adrian Durham's Championship Ground Rating

I have been.... and the last time i went was typical city..... fantastic day until the football started and we were 2 down in 20mins. That doesn't diminish my thoughts on the stadium itself.

    Adrian Durham's Championship Ground Rating

Hillsborough is my favourite current ground in the championship.

    Running

Club night with my Godiva training group last night.... One of favourite sessions..... 2 x 2.1 mile reps around the roads outside of the Memorial Park. Starting outside the Park& Ride Car Park, a quick start down Kenilworth Rd, and down into Coat Of Arms Bridge Road.... all downhill so far...

    Running

I was racing yesterday just over the Mid-Wales border in the first race of the Shropshire Winter Fell Champs. Due to a lot of fixture congestion this time of year, i really have to prioritise races, and can't afford to rest up too much before every race. So i'd trained properly last week, and...

Nice one..... If you felt good, then a reasonable (but tough) target might be 1:24 which is just about 20 minute/5km pace throughout.

    Spent £10m on L1 players

The point is, a football forum is often not the best barometer of a new signing's talent..... I'd sooner trust the judgement of Robins and his team, than the ravings of a few madmen on here.... as more often than not they get it right.

    Spent £10m on L1 players

Many were saying Hamer "should never wear the shirt again" when he got sent off twice early in the season.

    Spent £10m on L1 players

Gyokores was slated for quite a while when he first joined. And this time last year people were suggesting selling Wright and Simms for a huge loss just to recoup some money, as they were "shit"

    Villa

I understand it very well. But feeling the need to call some random fans "horrible wankers" 23 years later doesn't really fire up my passions about it all.

    Robins has to go…

I think even 3pts would have been "acceptable" to most fans had it been the other way round..... losing in injury time to 3rd place Blackburn, then beating an average Sheff Weds, would've been about par for the course.

    Villa

So we wouldn't have gloated had we sent them down then? I've been on the end of rough treatment at Villa Park.... but in the main, they're just football fans like us.

    Running

I've recently booked flights to Sicily for my next race abroad.... European Masters Mountain Champs in May, on the side of Mt Etna. Yesterday i was fortunate (or was it unfortunate) enough to have t race for Godiva in the National 6-Stage Road Relay Champs at Sutton Coldfield. Fortunate...

    Robins has to go…

Well its not like football fans to be reactionary...... Tuesday night: "we can still make the playoffs" Saturday night: "Robins Out"

    Villa

And as pathetic as the current rules are, we didn't win fair and square, our "winning goal" was offside. (i'm not debating how shit VAR and the current rules are... i'm sure we all agree on that)

    Villa

My point was "never forgiving" the fans..... It wasn't their fault. And what do you expect from football fans.... as dislikeable as Man Utd fans are, they (and we) will milk any victory regardless.
  17. T

    Villa

This is pretty pathetic imo...... if the boot was on the other foot, do you not think City fans would've milked a dubious win? "can't ever forgive..." :D i think you'd have died of grief at Villa Park when they were singing "some day, we'll meet again...." at us (i can't understand City...

    Villa

Being born in the early 80's, Villa was always the big one for me growing up.... and still would be now. I never really support other English clubs in Europe, but if pushed, i'd sooner see Villa do well than the likes of the "big 6" (although i thought/said that about Leicester when they were...

    GMK

I remember Knowl loudly admonishing Carl Baker for his poor performance at one of the Northampton home games.... which could obviously be heard by all and sundry due to the low numbers.... 30 seconds later he scored an overhead kick (and came over for a quick word with him!)
