I think it's an indictment of our midfield recruitment that Palmer has failed to establish himself as a regular starter in 2 seasons at the club yet some still think he's the answer.

Most of this is far too reactionary. Torp and Eccles can't play together though. They would both look a lot better playing alongside Sheaf, as he actually takes control of a game and dictates the tempo. Hopefully a new midfielder comes in and Torp will have to fight his way back in.

He needs more support. Quick feet and trickery are no use when you have no options and get doubled all the time.
