    Early team news

I do bloody hope I'm wrong! No Keogh would be a disaster, definitely the sort of person who would play through a knock though I would have thought?!

Platt out, Keogh and Hussey doubts apparently....

If we get more defensive injuries...

Could you see Thorn moving anyone out of position to cover, rather than potentially start Willis, Christie, Clarke and Hussey? Could see Conor Thomas filling in at right back for a couple of games, like Gunnarsson did briefly - based on the fact that he has superb awareness of when others...

Does Clingan deserve a new deal?

Don't think he would stay, but yeah I probably would offer him a new one. Solid enough Championship player, youngsters and loanees aside is still probably the best central midfielder we have. However, I wouldn't have him as captain, and wouldn't hesitate to drop him to the bench if we brought in...

    Team for saturday ?

I remember reading somewhere that Clingan has previous experience at CB, so perhaps worst case scenario would be to move him there, and play Deegan in midfield?

    Team for saturday ?

I've always thought Kevin Kyle would have made a good CB during his time with us!

    Team for saturday ?

Would imagine Cyrus would play in the middle, assuming Cranie and Cameron are out. That just leaves Willis on the bench, surely would be the youngest back 4 in the league if Keogh got injured?!

    Ratings V Watford

Murphy - 8 - Made several good saves to keep us in the game, especially in the second half. Made a couple of strong punches at corners and claimed the ball well in the air when required. Has definitely improved over the season. Clarke - 6 - Reasonable defensively, though did let his man get...

    King ignoring booing

Let's not forget the impact playing with King had on Jutkiewicz. Lukas looked like a new player for the first half of the season for us, and one can only assume that he had flourished after his partnership with King last year. Given that without Lukas' goals we would almost certainly be down...

    Reading Ticket Situation

Ah right, so assuming I'm right in thinking we have an allocation of just over 1200, CCFC should release the next batch on Monday?

    Reading Ticket Situation

Does anyone know how many tickets are left for Reading away in 2 weeks time? Tried to buy mine yesterday online only to find all available areas were 'greyed out' so to speak. Surely we haven't sold our allocation already?! Anyone else find the same problem?

    Jordan Clarke

Would be a good move for him, people said he looked rusty when he came on during the Derby game (understandably so, given the length of time he was out). He desperately needs match fitness, and with Christie and Keogh available for selection at right back, I would have no qualms in him going on...

Best Ever Goal by an Ex-City Player?

Agree that we probably wrote him off too soon. Though he was quite slow, he was useful in the air, but as you said he was always used out wide, got a bit of a raw deal from us in that respect.

    James McPake...

I'm pretty disappointed with his attitude to be perfectly honest. He's been injured for the majority of his time here, yet the club stood by him and even offered him a one-year extension to his contract. His reaction? To throw it back in AT's face and demand to leave rather than fight for his...

    Clingan or Thomas?

With regards to CT's age - Gunnarsson was only 18/19 when he first joined, and had arguably his best season for us in 2008/09, when he was at his most inexperienced. Yes, Thomas is young and will need a rest at some point, but on current form he should be starting every game.
