My daughter works for Mars and has her name in a draw for tickets through them on Wednesday, so there must be other companies like that through which people can access tickets. 17,000 seems an awful lot though, so I'm guessing a lot of those normally find their way to touts, as I can't imagine...

So where exactly are the 17,000 neutral seats and who will be occupying them?

We averaged nearly 35,000 in our first season in the top flight in 1967/68, so we won't be beating that. Should certainly beat our highest PL average though.

If we are looking abroad the Japanese/ Korean market looks to be a potentially good one. Caught a bit of the Brighton/ Arsenal game last week and Mitoma looked a hell of a player. I believe Celtic have successfully targetted signings from that part of the world too.

If we do get promoted Manning is the sort of player we should go for. Instead of current PL players I would rather we try to pick up the best from the Championship who are likely to have more hunger and upside about them in terms of sell on fees.

Been whiling the time worrying about penalties so have been looking up some career record stats. Godden is our top man scoring 18 from 19 and also scoring for us in penalty shoot outs. Gyokeres has scored 6 from 9. Walker 8 from 11. Kelly 7 from 8 although has missed a shoot out penalty for us...

Playing devils advocate, but couldn't a season ticket holder also act as a pseudo tout with their preferred access to extra tickets?

There goalie reminds me of an up market Reice Charles-Cook, fancying himself as an outfield player and overdoing it at times. Am expecting our games with Boro to be close so could really do with our forwards being switched onto nick the ball off him for a soft goal.
