    Matchday Rewind Coventry City 2 - 1 Middlesbrough | Sat, 15 Aug, 1992

My first game was December 92, and we did this.

    Leicester

This illusion that we're a totally different fanbase from Leicester (or indeed anyone else) is complete bollocks. Historically pretty similar to Leicester..... similar crowds, similar cities, similar history. If we got promoted and have a crap season, the knives will be out for Lampard and...

    Fuck off Neville

So we love anyone who has ever commentated on an iconic CCFC moment. And hate anyone who has ever dared to say anything remotely criticising CCFC. Glad thats been cleared up.

Raced at Podium in Leicester today. 17:18 Massive pb. I sat off the back of the 17 minute pacers for a couple of km but the pace was just a bit too hot for me. Being in a field with so many people of similar pace just made it a great race to be in.... my race was won in something around 16:20...

    Nine To Go.

Really could have done with beating Derby..... we'd have (almost) been in a position where even if we lost all of the next three, we'd still be right in the hunt. Probably need a couple of draws or at least one win in the next three (Sunderland on saturday would be the most likely source of...

    2030 World Cup

Essentially it was to make Saudi Arabia 2034 a certainty.

    Running

Podium is technically a "road" 5km, although its in private grounds and is basically 5 laps round a 1km loop. Its one of the top events in the country.... we've got a couple of guys who are around 15mins and they are only in the "D" race. The elite race will be close to 13mins...

    Running

Nice one..... if you can hold that pace you'd be well on for a sub-3hr marathon. I raced on the Shropshire Hills yesterday in the penultimate race in the Winter Champs. 10th overall. I'm in a 5-horse race at the top of the v40 standings...... 1st has now gone, and i'm still currently in...

Manchester United fans in WT 92/93

I was in the family stand that day and that had a fair few Utd fans as well. I don't think the WT was given over to their fans.... they just had loads in there. Some of the games later in the 90's were pretty spicy.

    Serie A

I was in London at New Year and went to the Classic Football Shirt shop in Aldgate. Picked up an original Parma home shirt from 1991. Cost the bloody earth.

    Im at the point now

It goes without saying its in our hands now. We're still so unconvincing at the back though, we'd still be heavy underdogs against Sunderland or Burnley over two legs in my eyes, regardless of the form table.

Spotting fellow Cov fans in the wild

This was after the Planet. Re-opened as The Institute, would be late 2000 or possibly during 2001. However it only lasted a year or so. Not sure why.... the DnB nights always seemed busy, and the saturday nights appeared to be equally popular.

The final table prediction...top 6 or not?

We'll lose one of the next three matches, against the form book. And more than likely produce a win against Burnley or Sheffield United.

The final table prediction...top 6 or not?

Yes i think it is a stretch, and just a little too far. Hope to be proved wrong. Not that we aren't capable.... but given some of the games coming up, i suspect there is little margin for error in the other "winnable" games.

The final table prediction...top 6 or not?

I think we will fall just short...... as a couple have said above, i think its too much of a stretch to continue the required form for the rest of the season.

    We are right in it

We'll probably drop points in the next few games, against the form book, then pick up an unlikely win against Sunderland/Sheff Utd/Burnley. It rarely goes exactly true to form. 6-7 points from the next three, and then an optimistic 3pts from the harder three matches, would be 10 pts from 6...

While the sky is blue - The Believers

We had the Final Countdown for a short period in the mid 90's too.... possibly the Phil Neal era.... before Mr Blue Sky

While the sky is blue - The Believers

Yes. I'd be highly surprised if it was anything other than a tribute act though.

While the sky is blue - The Believers

"Pavarotti" did a song at half time on one boxing day in the mid 90's.
