I bet he is not that depressed that Wasps have lost today. Why would he be - hes only been watching them for a couple of seasons - it takes years to get that gut-wrenching feeling following a loss, You need to follow your team through thick & thin and be bonded to them through heritage and...
I cant stomach the fact that anyone from Coventry would support Wasps let alone buy a bloody season ticket!
Surely you would get yourself up to the Butts and watch Coventry Rugby Club?
I just don't get it.
Unfortunately Sizzler it is people like you that keep the Wasps here and by doing that...
When you ask someone to name Coventry's Rugby Club they will undoubtedly say "Wasps" or worse "Coventry Wasps". Before they moved here the answer to that would have been "Coventry". This might be a minor point to some but I personally think this has had a negative impact on CRFC.
Paying or not it makes me feel sick that 30,000 plus will be watching these fucking interlopers!
They seem to be putting down roots in this area and obviously couldn't give a toss for their original "fan base" and are now trying (and succeeding) in creating a new one here in Coventry.
They come...
Let me start this by saying that I absolutely hate The Wasps Rugby Club. They waltz into the city riding roughshod over the heritage of Coventry Rugby Club and expect (and sadly get) the people of Coventry on board to go and watch the pantomime crap they call entertaining rugby. Now recently...
I thought about that game too - however the equaliser was in normal time not injury time so I discounted that game.
Same feeling though but not quite the 2 goals in injury time as the Walsall game.
I was in a pub on Sunday and a guy was moaning about the Walsall game and Cov City in general - I listened from afar quietly agreeing with most of his rant then he said the following "Typical City winning in injury time then conceding 2 to lose - Typical City" - with that I was on my way to the...
I'm positive that the average will rise before the season ends.
The Club will probably have another community day with over 25,000 in the ground, plus if we stay at the top end of the table more will come as the season hots up toward the end.
We have a much better chance of winning on Saturday than we did last season when we were decimated by injuries to key players.
Our confidence is sky high too remember!
The thing is, every time I hear a tribute to the Leicester owner I cant help thinking about Sisu and how the polar opposite would apply if they were to suffer a similar tragedy.
For me a shift change in attitude on behalf of the owners should be a no-brainer!
Having read and listened to the hundreds of tributes and positive stories regarding the Leicester Chairman it has made me wonder if Club owners and chairmen up and down the country (including Sisu) have started looking at how they treat their privileged positions as heads of their football...
What are your views on allowing alcohol to be consumed from your seat whilst watching Coventry City at The Ricoh?
Apparently the EFL wants the 1985 ban lifted - I think this is a great idea so bring it on!
EFL chief executive Shaun Harvey wants to lift the long-established ban on supporters...
