A bit like Bright last year. Useless he was.

    Standing up at away games

That wasn’t the case at Bristol Rovers as, from what I could see,all seats (seat spaces) were taken. At Burton last season people were asking those stood in front to sit down as, the same as at BR, there was a terrace available. They were just ignored. There are some ignorant people around...

4th Round Draw - Who d'ya fancy? (should we make it)

Maybe it’s just where I sit at St Andrews but I find the attitude of a lot of people is far more negative than anything I experienced at the Ricoh. This is despite doing so well this season.

Andy Street looking forward to seeing Coventry "Sky Blue"

I think the name ‘The Sky Blues’ was first coined by Derek Henderson in a match report in the Telegraph after watching the team play a pre season friendly against Birmingham at St Andrews in the new all Sky blue kit. We won 2-1 and both the team and the kit impressed.

4th Round Draw - Who d'ya fancy? (should we make it)

Plenty of magic still in this competition if treated with repect. The 1800 City fans in Bristol yesterday certainly wanted the win.

4th Round Draw - Who d'ya fancy? (should we make it)

When we have had gates higher than that? I don’t see why a move is need. Two stands each sounds a fair solution.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. MK Dons Match Thread - Saturday 11th Jan

MK in the 0-0 draw were the worst team I think we have played this season. They looked devoid of confidence and seemed set up not to lose, even though they were at home. Only after we missed the pen did they start to have a go. They have changed manager and have improved since then, indeed...

    U23 v Cardiff today

Jones played a more central role in that half. Maybe where he will be used in the first team.

4th Round Draw - Who d'ya fancy? (should we make it)

When we played MK in the cup during our promotion season, I felt that was a good indicator as to how much improvement would be needed if we went up. Although I think we deserved the win at MK, I think that was down to grit, determination and a desire to win. They were the better footballing side...

4th Round Draw - Who d'ya fancy? (should we make it)

It’s an interesting question. Perhaps some Blues ST holders wouldn’t go if they couldn’t get their own seats.

4th Round Draw - Who d'ya fancy? (should we make it)

It would be interesting to see how this team would get on against a middle ranking Championship team just to see how far off of the pace (or not) we are. Away at Birmingham should generate a reasonable gate hopefully to make a bit of money.

Match Thread Tranmere Rovers vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 1st Jan

Also interesting to note that the Lincoln home game which followed a similar pattern to the one at Tranmere (We dominate the first half, go in one goal up, they come out and are on top for the first 15 minutes) the same call for change was made, I wanted him to change it around too. No subs were...

Match Thread Tranmere Rovers vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 1st Jan

We were winning 2-1 and were under pressure. Wycombe were hammered 4-1 by us. Tranmere were hammered 4-1 by us. We weren't hammered by anyone. The only luck was the missed penalty, everything else was good defending. The context was that it was the start of the second half. They came out flying...

    The formation

I think it is interesting that the group of people that were saying the one up front formation, which was an indication of Robin’s defensive mindset and which was never going to work, are now claiming that the manager has listened to their advice and changed things to make us more attacking. It...

Gary Gillespie scored a hat trick for Liverpool? Some feat that is for a centre half.

Match Thread Tranmere Rovers vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 1st Jan

Read the posts. Nothing to do with calls for changes to be made. Everything to do with unfair criticism of Robins. You were calling for him to be sacked two years ago when we were in the play off positions. Despite two years of improvement since, you continue to find fault but seldom if ever...
