Shipley - Player of the season

At the moment I would say Kelly. Rarely makes a mistake and is really missed when injured.

"IF" we managed to get promoted... How would we fund it

I would have thought a combination of Baylis and Chaplin paid for him.

    Wycombe fans view

Against Bolton we missed lots of chances and had 3 goals disallowed at least one of which should have counted. Tranmere we totally dominated and missed loads of chances. MK we totally dominated, missed chances including a penalty. The way to beat them I would think is to play the same way but...

    Rumour from the boardroom

The problem with this is that Sisu’s ‘hard ball’ stance involved using our football club as the hostage. They weren’t bothered about the damage to the club or the distress they caused to thousands of fans. You talk about Sisu’s rights as business people to do what they want. What about the...

    Rumour from the boardroom

Why only 3 or 4K more? Where do those figures come from? We averaged 12k last season. In the Mowbray season, the attendances were as high as 17k until the wheels came off.

    League One today

We dominate games, we usually create a lot more chances than the opposition. It is about taking those chances. We play good, attacking football. You must be watching different games to me.

Match Thread Wycombe Wanderers vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Sunday 29th Dec

I always think it is good to play someone who has consistently beaten you purely on the basis that the bad run has to end sometime. However, I think back to the seemingly endless winless run against Villa and even our inability to win at Shrewsbury and the reality is that these runs can go on...

Villa Fans on the train - should be running our Trust

I’d give it another go but I am not sure the outcome would be too different. Too many people willing to kick up a fuss on here but not will ing to actually do anything.

    Rumour from the boardroom

Wouldn’t that still effectively rule any action out? From what was said when all this came to light, first the EU have to decide if the proposition of unfair state aid has merit, then, if they decide that it does, the legal mechanism would start to trundle. I thought even the first of these...

Happy Christmas one and all !!!

Totally off the point. We visited Austria for the first time last week (Salzburg). What a lovely city and lovely country. It certainly wasn’t snowy last week, almost spring like. Happy Christmas to everyone.

Villa Fans on the train - should be running our Trust

One of the suggestions from a Trust open meeting was to have a few cars constantly circling the island into the Tesco car park. That would very quickly affect traffic on JH way.
