    Fleck leaving

I actually think he's been excellent in midfield for us over the last 3 seasons (discounting his first season). Yes he has his flaws, but he's a big asset at this level. Watching him next to Bigi on Friday night showed the gap in class between the two IMO (and I didn't think Bigi had a...

    Fleck leaving

My view is actually different to the vast majority on here – John Fleck is the best technical footballer we have had for quite a while. Absolute wand of a left foot at this level and could quite comfortably play in the Championship with better players around him. I will be sad to see him go.

    Peterborough Ratings

Based on watching on Sky (only been to one game this season as most games are miles away for me and frankly I cant be arsed/have better things to do): RCC 7 - Good under crosses and distribution was good. Made a couple of decent stops. Lorentzson 7 - I really like the look of him. Very...

    Ricketts (c)

Abysmal from Ricketts for the first. Made a lot of poor decisions tonight in and out of possession that cost us.

    More players incoming tomorrow?

I take your point - but it doesn’t leave much time at all to sort out contract extensions once the season finishes (especially if we make the playoffs) without leaving the possibility of other clubs starting negotiations with players in the last month of their deal. Means we may run the risk of...

    More players incoming tomorrow?

TM hasn’t mentioned much about new contracts for existing players? I know we don’t yet know what league we will be in next season, but you would think there are a couple who could/should at least be part of a squad for both, and so would merit at least another year? Martin, Fleck, Stokes all...

    Jordan Willis back in training

I think Willis is an option at full back in games we need physicality and the requirement is defensive over attacking attributes – a game away from home against an in form side with pacey wingers, for example. I agree he shouldn’t be first choice at RB though.

    Jordan Willis back in training

What did he actually do to his knee? Cruciate?

    stokes

I think move Ricketts to left back and bring in Lorentzson on the right. Haynes as cover - 10 games left which are going to be a real scrap to the death and I don't think he has the defensive attributes we need at the moment.

Totally agree. I’ve mentioned before – just because you are captain does not mean you have a divine right to start every game, nor should the manager feel obliged to play you. A rest for a game or two would do him good, and give Lorentzson a proper run to show what he can offer us.

If Martin is fit, I think he has to slot back into defence in place of Cargill. I would like to see: RCC Lorentzson Martin Stephens Stokes Lameiras Fleck Vincelot Murphy Armstrong Tudgay

Is Aaron Martin fit yet ?

Who has been the better of Stephens and Cargill to date? Not seen either of them yet. Agree, Martin has to come in on Saturday

    Mowbray Interview

I don't think being captain gives you a right to a place in the starting XI. Rest him for a game or 2, give the armband to someone else and bring Lorentzson in.

    How do you bet?

I once bet on us to lose 2-1 (correct score) away at QPR in Jan 2011 at the bookies in the ground. Sure enough we lost 2-1 and I was the only bloke queuing up to collect winnings, the guy thought I was absolutely crazy to be betting against my own team. Still, £50 says I’m not crazy.
