The pressure of players surrounding referees along with the verbal interactions/abuse are definitely part of most teams DNA and obviously promoted by the coaching staff. It's one of the dark arts of the game to intimidate referees and needs to be stamped out. As many have said in previous posts...

What I'm surprised about is that the PL don't buy in referees from other countries. Especially considering the standard in this country.
