    Songs We No Longer Sing

I don't remember that, but I do remember Rangers/ Celtic for the same reasons as you mention for your chant.

    Songs We No Longer Sing

The wheelbarrow song is still sung by Notts County fans, but at a lot slower tempo than how I remember our lot singing it.

Match Thread Millwall FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 25th Nov

Some of you make me laugh. Doom & gloom merchants for weeks. Signings are crap, MR has lost the plot & we should be looking elsewhere. Some even contemplating relegation. Come game time though you all fancy us to win 🤭

    Rate The New Players

I think your scores are generally fair enough at this point. The forwards could potentially score lower if you factor in the transfer fees & therefore the expectation on them. Otherwise I would probably increase Van Ewijk up to 6 as he did have a couple of good games where he was effective early...

Something to piss a few off , XG table

Ok, I only saw it live and haven't seen any replays of either chance. As it happened I thought their player was at the back post but that the cross was played behind him hence the overhead kick, while Godden's was a free header in the middle of the 6 yard box in the centre of the goal.

Something to piss a few off , XG table

If that is the case then I seriously question the value of the data being entered. I presume Vidigal's chance was the overhead kick where had to twist and turn after the cross went over his head and behind him? That was a difficult chance at best, not quite like Godden's free header in the...

Something to piss a few off , XG table

I'm cetainly no expert, but as far as I'm aware the XG from one game has no bearing on when you play someone else. The league table at the start of this thread therefore gives us wins for games where we had a higher XG in a match directly against our opponents, and losses for those we had as...

I thought for a while it was the guy Grendel had a few runs in with - I know that doesn't whittle it down much :) Ring of Steel or something? Trouble is the fascination with tactics and changes of formation gives the impression its someone younger whose been overdosing on Football Manager, so...

The club have really missed out these last few years when they could have employed a foresighted manager like yourself instead!

    Season tickets

Will be interesting to see how they schedule the TV games. Hopefully the majority will still be at weekends, even if they are spread over staggered kick off times.

    Season tickets

Its your right to do what you want of course, and I appreciate its not neccessarily financially viable for some, but what will you do if next season these players and/ or new players form themselves into a decent team? Individual match tickets are likely to remain exponentially high compared to...

What needs to happen in Jan window

Yes, I doubt we have a single player on 20k a week. We have bought young players in because they command lower wages, but have a bigger sell on potential. You like many are blinded by the reported transfer fees, which are more than likely based on a final fee incorporating add ons.

What needs to happen in Jan window

While we have spent decent money on transfer fees I still get the impression that our wage bill is still toward the lower end of the league, and given the financial pickle many clubs are in that is probably the correct course of action. Before the start of the season most of our fans were...

    What goes up.....

Although I don't particularly like any of the 3, I hope one I hope one of them stays up as I don't think its good for football in general for the status quo to constantly remain intact. Likewise I don't want to see Leicester, Leeds and Southampton ending the season as the promoted teams.

    Referee

There are loads of games in the Championship where the linesmen take an age before flagging for offside when there is no VAR involved!

    Bobby thomas and liam Kitching

Without looking back at it I'm pretty sure that was McNally who got caught in possession by Eccles.

    Referee

Thomas definitely stopped playing, and he was the closest defender to their attacker who also momentarily stopped. Both had clearly seen the linesman put his flag up. Given that these days linesmen are not encouraged to put there flags up until after a passage of play is complete I can see why...
