    Ex Player Watch

Maddison can't really win with some people. He is a professional footballer playing for Spurs and did what he had to do to help them win. He also clearly wanted to show some respect to us on his first visit back since leaving. I really don't get the need to hate him for it!

What's the best Cov pub in London?

A friend of mine told me he went into a pub in Richmond (not sure which one) when we were playing the play off final, and it was full of Cov fans.

    CCFC Women Side

I was connected to Copsewood Ladies team a few years back, who made it up through the leagues and made it up to the same level as the CCFC ladies team, and even beat them on a couple of occasions! Looking from the outside it seemed to me that they were poorly run as they should have been light...

    Spion Kop

I don't think your memory of the Forest game is as vivid as you think :) Forest weren't given the whole kop, they just turned up in huge numbers and took it over. There was also no lap of honour either. While the crowd were waiting for Forest to come out to celebrate, some Forest fans started...

    “Go on, SHOOT!”

There is definitely more of a mindset these days around scoring the perfect goal rather than just having a go. Same with wide players when they get in a good position to cross but elect to turn back and retain possession instead.

    ITK’s

I don't think our throw ins are as bad as they used to be. I also think that on the whole Thomas is decent at keeping possession. I think this is where a couple of instances of both get stuck in the memory and have us believing they happen all the time. My bugbears are mostly to do with...

Prices can go up as well as down

Highlighted is correct. EMC's best position is where we play £7m Wright so in terms of cost Wright should be ahead of him. Kitching has simply been stymied by being suspended at the start of the season and by his replacement Binks having a half decent start to the season. There's a long way to...

    Spurs Tickets

Which is what I said! I'm fine with season ticket holders benefiting from a discounted match by match rate for league games. What I don't agree with is them getting further discounted tickets in cup competitions over and above other supporters, particularly when they have not been shown to...

    Spurs Tickets

The away priority ticket holders don't get cheaper tickets though! To clarify on this: 1) I think its great we have so many season ticket holders. Having over 20,000 commit to it has undoubtedly been one of the factors in the upward vibes around the club. 2) In return those season ticket...

    Spurs Tickets

In all honesty I have no problem season tickets benefitting from nice early bird deals. I just don't see why they should also get cheaper deals in the cup. The season ticket holders hardly turned up in force for the Oxford game in the last round after all!

    Spurs Tickets

Where did I say we should not have any season ticket holders?

    Spurs Tickets

Season ticke ......... and not forgetting that season ticket holders already get a huge discount on matchday prices as it is compared to those unable to commit to going week in week out.

    Sheffield Utd

Agreed, but equally I don't want to see them applauded until their game is over either, as it gives the impression they are bigger than the club. The best thing we can do is completely ignore their existence, and if anyone wants to applaud, then do so at the end when hopefully they are on the...

Tactical Analysis - CCFC Vs Norwich

Get a grip! When did you start supporting us? What on earth would you have been like in the Venus/ Slade and League 2 years?

    Transfer Rumour Matty James

Trouble is if we sign him and don't win any of our next few games you will be the first on here to slag the club off for signing him. Although I'm not enthused by signing a 33 year old freed by Bristol City, if MR does decide to sign him then I'll get behind him and hope he's as good as he was...

    Transfer Rumour Matty James

If he was the same player we had 3 years ago then I'd be fine with signing him, but I'm not so sure now. Much depends on our real ambitions for the season, as he's more a player you'd sign to keep you in the Championship, rather than one thats going to lead to us challenging for promotion.

    Robins

Well you've given 3 teams for starters. Its fair to assume Leeds and Middlesbrough pay higher salaries too and possibly Stoke given their owner's bottomless pockets. Norwich and West Brom will also have players on higher wages given they've only just lost out on parachute payments. That's at...

    Robins

That £45m figure you quote though is completely misleading, as it comes on the back of a team bereft of its 3 main players in Hamer, Gyokores and O'Hare. If we had spent £45m on top of having those 3 players still here, then yes that money would have enabled us to produce a Championship winning...

Tactical Analysis - CCFC Vs Norwich

For all the people banging on about Norwich dominating the game, bear in mind that they scored with their only shot on goal. Even that was deflected, and if not was likely to have been saved by Dovin. After they scored Norwich had a decent amount of possession I'll agree, and we lost our way a...

    In Defence

Definitely time to bring Thomas and Kitching back. They are the best combination, being bigger and stronger than Lati and Binks and offering more of a threat at set pieces. Possibly a bit tough on Binks who I don't think has been too bad but needs must.
