    Bristol City

He did a good job for us last season, but I wasn't overwhelmed by him, and was slightly worried we were going to blow a lot of budget to bring him in permanently. Thankfully he chose Bristol.

Still leaking some bad goals, but the team spirit is great, and we have some good options going forward even if Gyo's out. I think another score draw, 1-1 which I would take at a bogey ground. Then smash Derby 4-0.

    Best midfield pairing

Sheaf is inconsistent no doubt, but when he’s on song, 2nd haves v Forest and Fulham, and the Reading game, he is some player. A clever passer who can link play seamlessly. He will get better, and Robins has the luxury of rotating his midfield with Allen, Hamer and Kelly all fit. Eccles should...

Best striker since relegation from the Premiership

Armstrong was electric for half a season, but then got disinterested when Mowbray lost his head and was signing old, unfit players as stop-gaps, and we sold Maddison

Transfer Rumour Where will Max Biamou end up?

I don't think Max did struggle in The Championship. He scored some decent goals, and lead the line well. Probably not good enough for a team looking at Upper Table / Play Offs, and we know Robins holds no sentiment. I would of been quite happy with selling Walker, and having Viktor, Waghorn...

Immediate 5 game ban according to what I read.

    Sheffield Utd U23 v Coventry U23

He is a perfect replacement for O'Hare late on in games if we are comfortable, but O'Hare has such great stamina he rarely needs to come off. Just hope Jones gets a good crack at it this season. If he's not up to the standard then fair enough.

    Sheffield Utd U23 v Coventry U23

I think Jodi has been unlucky as we've had pretty much all our attacking players fit this season (4 mains strikers and O'Hare). So his chances even off the bench have been limited. If that continues maybe a month's loan to league 1 or 2 might not be a bad idea to give him games. Early days...

2-1 City - We're at home and we won some big games last season that no-one saw coming (Brentford, Reading). Sure we'll get a reaction from Wednesday too.

Shame Jodi’s not in the bench. I don’t think our strikers have been the problem.

Won a couple of corners and throw ins and the players are strolling up to take them. We’re 3-0 down FFS!!! Where’s the drive, anger.

Do you think Robins will tinker? Sheaf for Allen, or Walker/Godden for Waghorn? Seeing as we have a game lunchtime on Saturday. He did that at Millwall, when we had 3 games in a week.

Tough fixture this one, horrible pokey ground and a committed opposition who have from all accounts been unlucky not to have picked up more points. They will be at us from the start, and this might be the biggest test for our defence this season.

    Best midfield pairing

Really great to have all 4 in competition. Love the way Sheaf can dictate play, but Allen offers more drive and attacking intent. I would be tempted to start Sheaf on Friday, bring Allen on if we need a goal, and Kelly to come on if we're defending a one goal lead.

Match Thread Peterborough (H) Fri 24th Sept 7.45 ko

We've got competition for places at the moment, with Kelly almost back, and Jones getting there. Sheaf & Allen battling for the midfield position, and the 4 fit strikers. We need to be winning this, and Robins will have enough on the bench to change things if it's not going our way. 2-0 Cov

    Hyam

He's looked a far better player playing in the right hand side of the back 3. A better defender than Rose, but not as quick, and Rose can pick a pass, so it's a good battle between those 2. I do fear if we have any injuries to the back 3 though, as Rose seems to be the only cover. Drysdale is...

    Dabo's suspension

Thought Kane looked decent when he came on last night, and pretty sure he was pushed, which lead to the Collins chance. He looks like he's got a nasty streak in him, and from what I have read is best at Right Wing back, rather than right back, so I think he'll be good replacement
